Yeah, Power Rangers should have something like a Metal Gear Rising soundtrack all over it
Bat in the Sun proved you can even update the original costumes to make them look a bit more modern while still keeping the original look

Okay, I actually really like what I saw. Yea, you kinda see the obvious ways that it will annoy folks, but they appear to be striking the perfect tone imo.
Looks about as best a way as you can hope to reboot something like power rangers.

Looked a lot better. I'm not a fan of it showing off essentially the whole movie, but fans were wondering where Zordon, the suits, and the Zords were in the last one so this made up for it. It's a lot more colorful and brighter and the action looks solid, it definitely has the feel of the show.

Them fighting those rock putties on the cliff is definitely the most Power Rangers looking scene in the whole trailer. Could be good. I still hate the suits and zords though.

no way. that song was used for maybe 3 years or so after it released. Power is going on 7 years and its still being use.It was in a cologne commercial last year for goodness sake

-The suits look way better in motion in their final form.
-Bryan Zordon is pretty cool
-The power center looks neat
-Rita looks different, but fun
-The putties look fine
-The black joke was funny
-The individual zords look better in motion
Negative:
-Now that I see the megazord in movie form, I can more confidently say that I do not like it
-To my surprise, while I can make my peace with Alpha's design, I do not like his voice
-Goldar sucks. They could have easily chased that same aesthetic while making it more interesting to look at. Right now the only interesting part is the head. Dud.
-The music choice for this trailer was awful. Don't mix kanye and power rangers.

Not sure how that goes against what I was saying. Reruns exist. I'm 25 and remember owning tons of VHS of Power Rangers and watching it every Saturday morning back when I was 4-6 years old. It might have been reruns, but I was a dumb kid, so I didn't know.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see them look less like toys and just have a cooler design. I loved the original Megazord. It's probably not gonna be much of a problem anyway.
O it can done lighthearted like a joke about why zordon didn't get adults to fight or something like that.
Huge MM Power Rangers fan as a kid, all the way up to Lost Galaxy.
- Disappointed they haven't made at least some cover/remix or even thematic reference to the original theme-tune.
- Disappointed the baddies seem to be all made up for rock formations instead of hammy looking alien creatures.
- Disappointed Elizabeth Banks sounded like she's trying to do a over the top voice similar to Rita but not really getting there.
- Glad to see Zordon actually looks kind of cool and that Alpha-9 doesn't actually look ridiculous when surrounded by the rest of the art direction.
- Glad to see the beginning will ham up the American highschool aesthetic.
- Glad to see the film isn't trying to take itself completely seriously.
- Glad to see the film doesn't look completely terrible.
Confused as to why Lord Zedd isn't in this seeing as it looks like whole film has based its character and zord design around him....

Sorry, I should've not put the "LOL" on my post. Power Rangers is still currently running on TV (Dino Charge). I think you can watch the 1993 Power Rangers on Netflix. I'm 30 and I grew up watching the "original" US version that the movie is based on. I guess the average age is 22-25 who will watch this. I'm too old to be watching this probably. (LOL at me)

He's the Thanos of the Power Rangers cinematic universe. The next movie is just gonna be Power Rangers Turbo. Then Power Rangers Galaxy movie. Etc. The Reunion movie is gonna be like the Avengers, but times 5. 5 red rangers, 5 blue rangers, 5 black rangers, 5 pink rangers, and 5 yellow rangers.
Nahh, Im 24 and I remember MMPR being my first power ranger show I watched then all the other variants starting coming out.
