Guidi and Layer-0 though I would never need to replace them, they will almost certainly live longer than me if I take care of them.

I have worn these every day for 8 months now (roughly 8-12k steps/day) and they're still in perfect shape. When they eventually bite the dust (hopefully 2+ years from now), I'll totally buy them again. They're comfy, supportive, and go with just about everything.

I've been exclusively getting New Balance for years, but I'm going to shop around for my next pair. They no longer make the style I buy in the US, and the shoes do not feel as supportive as they used to. All for the same price or more expensive. Then there was the whole Trump thing. Fuck em.

I've had these for about a year and they're probably my favorite shoe. Light, comfy, and durable. They aren't as ugly as most hiking shoes.

I'm wearing Red Wing Heritage Weekender Oxfords (they're actually derbies, but whatever) right now, and I like them a lot. They seem pretty bulletproof. I'd definitely buy other Red Wing Heritage shoes/boots at this point.

Also, though I'm not that big on wearing athletic shoes all the time, I have some Nike Free 4.0 Flyknits that are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They almost feel wrong, like I'm wearing slippers out in public.

I've been a NB guy since my Cross Country days, but their adamant Trump support has made me question if I will buy another pair.

So I guess I'm a free agent now.

NB definitely does not "support" Trump. They were against TPP and were in favor of Hillary's and Trump's position on it. The single out-of-context quote people freaked out about was specifically about Obama's support for and Trump's opposition to TPP.

Even if the company "supports" Trump, who cares? Companies don't get to vote, and unless you're concerned about how the BIG SHOE lobby is really making life tough for the middle class, that should not have a huge impact on a person if they find the shoes comfortable. For all you know, 99% of their employees vote Dem, and the one dude at the top vote GOP...would you really want to put all those people you agree with out of work to get back at the one guy you disagree with?

Sorry...dumb rant...some other thread has me a little too riled up today.

It's perfectly fine to not want to buy from companies who publicly support causes or people you don't agree with. It's also perfectly fine to disagree with that support and buy from them anyway.

For work shoes, I am a big fan of Rockports, they're just so comfy and durable if you care for them. Like today, I wore something similar to-

For tennis shoes or whatever, I don't really care anymore as long as they look ok (no wild colors, gaudy stuff etc) I usually go to the discount chains and get whatever. Mostly Adidas and Nike.

Greats are my go-to casual shoes. Made in Italy with full-grain Italian leather & are so comfortable. Wear them with pretty much everything.

Custom Cowboy Boots from Dave Little (Little's Boots in San Antonio)

Alden dress shoes.

Both phenomenal footwear.

Allen Edmonds. Very high quality craftsmanship, high quality leather, and they offer great customer service. You can get the uppers refinished, the soles, heels and cork inserts all replaced for like $100. They offer stretching for people who just can't quite get a size that fits perfectly. Lots of nice stuff.
.

Awesome shoes.

Marana and Fader are pretty comfy.

These are my weekend pair.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

Frye boots - Hell yes I would buy more but the quality is up there and my pair will last for years and years to come.

Clark boots - Maybe. I took a pair on a camping trip and the quality didn't really hold up. They are a nice inexpensive pair of nice boots for the workplace though.

Converse - These are my around the town fast on and off shoes. They are fine, last only a bit but get the job done.

Nike - My running shoes, fantastic but that is all they are used for.

I practically only buy Sketchers these days. They fit well, are priced well (perpetual Buy 1, Get 1 50% off sales at their outlet stores), and I like 'em.

I've bought the Arcade line back-to-back when I wear through a pair.

dont buy cons, they are awful.

ive been wearing the same pair of vasque sundowners for the last 16 years. theyve been all over alaksa and the west hiking mountains and are still amazing, though i think they need to be retired as tehy are wearing thin in some areas.

nike has decent running shoes

always own a pair of sperry boat shoes. so comfortable

I used ot have a pair of frye boots that were amazing, but i lost one of the boots :(

snacknuts

we all knew her
I really like Merrell's various Mocs, both because I'm lazy and because they're comfortable. They've definitely gotten more expensive over the years, though.

That first post. I have been wearing these for about five years and I love them. They're comfortable and well-made, so I don't mind the price.

I like New Balance minimalist running shoes. Not expensive either. Too bad they are a pissbaby supporter.

For hiking shoes, I wear La Sportiva.

Clarks: Finding brands that make an EU42 for womens that actually fits me properly is nearly impossible. I trust so much in them that literally all of my nice footwear comes from this brand. When this size is never available in physical stores, I can't take a lot of chances with internet.

Converse: I guess I like them. They look nice, are comfortable and I usually get a new pair every year. I literally destroy them.

I have a beautiful pair of Frye sneakers but they didn't last well and the prices skyrocketed so I said nah to that brand

The boots are really well made and I have had no issues with mine in the four plus years I have owned them.

Nike Airmax are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Definitely grabbing another pair whenever I need to reup on shoes. Knee pain went down a considerable amount since I got em.
