Nah, not enough to make a major difference. It might change a few seats, but these are pretty reliable results I think.Everyone is so jubilant right now.
Are we sure things won't significantly change by the end of the night?

D66 is economically rightwing, socially progressive. The economic right will have a field day.
I am seeing 4 years of budget cuts and privatizations. More homeless people, more working poor, expensive rent, shit healthcare coverage etc.
I'd rather want PVV to have 30 seats, who cares. VVD being so big is a disaster for me personally
VVD and CDA are PVV light, look at their rethoric recently. PVV has the benefit of being boycotted. You'd rather have the PVV being the biggest? That is really strange. You surely must see the amount of trouble that would give.
Big victory for D66, yay!
Time to resign Wilders, this is as far as it will go.
What do you mean? PVV was always going to be bigger with the current political climate. I am positively surprised that PVV has only 19 sets, expected 25+. Hardly a Trump effect (at least not in a constructie way for PVV).
Dutch exit polls are typically much more reliable than the US ones, changes beyond the exit polls hardly ever involve changes of more than 2 seats per party. You can be quite sure of these results.Everyone is so jubilant right now.

Ah, okay. Sorry! He meant it in the opposite way. Trump's chaos is a blessing in disguise for Europe.
right now there are reasons to be optimistic, even more if our polls overestimate Le Pen like yours did for WildersDue to our political system, there was never much of a real danger coming from the Netherlands. France is and always has been the primary battlefield, if you guys fall it's all over for the EU as we know it.
I'd there a chance Wilders could lose a seat by the time everything is said and done? Because that would make me very happy.
Lol... He gained 4 seats.
I agree with you on the CDA going a bit crazy and chasing the PVV line. I thought the VVD was a bit better with it. But I think everyone at least goes up economically with the VVD according to the projections. And with D66 added, they'll have a party there to add some nuance to the immigration debate.VVD and CDA are PVV light, look at their rethoric recently. PVV has the benefit of being boycotted.
Now we will have parties that both target me economically and also ethnically.
It's a sad day for poor people and the immigrants. This while the foreign press is cheering.
Yes, these are still exit polls. So the results can shift a little.I'd there a chance Wilders could lose a seat by the time everything is said and done? Because that would make me very happy.
It a shitty signal to give out if PVV became the biggest party. I could also see the parties spewing more populist retoric to win over the PVV voter.Due to our political system, there was never much of a real danger coming from the Netherlands. Yes but that's nothing considering what he wanted to achieve, to become the second party or even the biggest.
I think the PVV reached it's maximum size
I think so too. CU and SGP could fill the coalition of D66, VVD and CDA. I doubt they really want GL in their coalition.

Here we go...
Not sure about that. I think what is holding the PVV back from becoming even bigger is that they seem to refuse to put out a clear campaign on the array of topics beyond immigration and Islam. If he starts doing that, we could be looking at PVV becoming a bigger threat in future elections.Yes but that's nothing considering what he wanted to achieve, to become the second party or even the biggest.

If the PVV is serious, they need to become a regular party, have people in local governments that can actually govern. But now it is the big Wilders show, and that doesn't work here like that. Not sure about that. He should resign while he reached it's maximum size? That makes no sense at all.

Well exactly just that. I work near full time with minimum wage, now my rent is going to go up and healthcare coverage is going to be even worse. My field also is in the public sector while VVD/D66/CDA want a smaller government. What exactly are you trying to say.
Yes because their maximum size (19-20) will never make them the biggest party, what he always wanted.
VVD and CDA are PVV light, look at their rethoric recently. PVV has the benefit of being boycotted.

So do we have polls overestimating populists now?
First austria and now the netherlands
CDA has been rightist in their election debates, but if you look at their actual party programme they are pro equal opportunity and pro integration. They're just yelling to get votes but will just do their own thing when in goverment. History teaches they always do that. Yell right, act left.VVD and CDA are PVV light, look at their rethoric recently. PVV has the benefit of being boycotted.

Then you have CDA and VVD going on the 'superior culture' and 'let go of your double nationality' tour.
I'll live but it's not going to be much better than that.

I'll have to give you the first one but I've never understood the double nationality thing. Why would you want to have dual citizenship? It's like being married to to two people. Never going to work out. Conflicting loyalties and all that. Then you have CDA and VVD going on the 'superior culture' and 'let go of your double nationality' tour.
To be fair, multiple countries do not allow you to get rid of it. I guess you could just refuse to pick up the passport, but you can't renounce your citizenship in all cases.I'll have to give you the first one but I've never understood the double nationality thing. Previous government was also quite shitty to the people who had less. Here's hoping things improve for those less fortunate because I ain't noticing shit when it comes to us being out of the economic crisis. Nothing has inproved for those who are living on the edge of poverty in my eyes.I'm sorry to hear that. Let's wait and see. Things are going to improve. Previous government was quite stable.
I rejoice at the salt from /r/The_Donald.

We're finally getting the US election meltdown we never got ;_;
