Um, yeah, the stable don't want to register this fucker, now what?
it requires three full stamina bars and it disappeara when you hop off for two or three seconds. so its not for getting to specific places on a fresh run (unless you just cheese the system with stamina crafts) and its also not for late game when you have the stamina but already have like all the towers

so its just a trap to make you waste five minutes holding down zl and going incredibly slowly down the mountain side to the stable

They're single piece items that don't have set bonuses.

Right. And their def isn't great. So if you need the benefit, you should just wear one piece of set gear that has the same benefit. By the time you have the fourth fairy and are serious about upgrading gear, you should have all or most of the sets. Exception being the lightning resist earrings I guess, since Rubber gear is easy to miss?

I actually fully upgraded the Diamond Circlet because I thought it looked better than the Ancient Helmet and I didn't care about the Ancient set bonus. But generally, jewelery is at best a stopgap until you get the proper set.

Aww man ;(

After seeing this LttP imitation of A New Hope's movie poster:

I now want to see BotW's cast done in a mock Episode VII poster.

Best beast

Best champion

Best music

Best NPCs

Gerudo
wins.

- I am partial to the
Goron firewalker, but a weird camel
is pretty unique I gotta admit.

- Yes.

- Yes.

-YES.

- GOD yes.

The dungeon broke my brain: I think it's Majora Stone Tower-tier for me. Boss fight was crazy hard, too. Love it all.

I was doing the snow bowling game, and one pin fell down after he reported that I only got nine pins. When the next round loaded, it didn't let me roll and immediately counted it as a spare. That was a STRIKE I GOT SCREWED OUT OF 200 RUPEES.

I just got through Lomei island....

Got the Helm in the shrine, then dropped down the opening and grabbed the circlet with about 10 guardians focussed on me, then NOPE'd my way out of there.

That was... different.

i need a wooden branch to light blue flames, what's the easiest way to get one? i keep chopping down trees & only getting wood, i needs a branch!

Try the small tree/bush things. The big trees just let you chop them up into wood planks.

Alternatively, arrows work too.
Eh? Like walk into it with an arrow drawn and walk it over until you can shoot the next lamp? lol

I only completed 3
divine beasts
, but I couldn't hold out on heading to Hyrule Castle and
Ganon any longer. Accidentally running into a Lynel in one of the guard towers proved to be frustrating, but I managed to get to the Sanctum relatively unscathed otherwise. Glad I had some practice reflecting Guardian lasers, otherwise the second phase of the fight would've been a lot more difficult. I did manage to break all my shields on my first try, and I couldn't figure out how else to get his defenses down, so I ended up dying. Daruk's Protection came in handy in the second phase too, as I put it up when he would slam the ground, stunning him long enough for me to get blows in with the Master Sword.

Any hints as to how to start the
Terrytown(?)
sidequest? Also, where does it show you your completion percentage?

For the love of God, somebody please help me with the metal block Korok seed puzzle south of Rist Peninsula
Oh I did that one the other day.
The metal block is up on a pillar overlooking the puzzle. As for where to put the block, you'll notice one half of the square playfield has an extra block. Mirror that on the other side of it. Unlike other puzzles like this that are two structures, it basically looks like one structure here.

The Guardian music gives me panic attacks. The new Cazadors.

I kind of feel like the Guardian themes work against the sense of urgency - the laser reticule and beeping does all the work, and the music just sort of sits there, making its presence known but not intensifying the sense of panic you're supposed to be feeling. The "Guardians Awaken" music from Skyward Sword was much more effective in conveying a similar atmosphere.

Idk maybe I'm bad at dodging but I'm still dying to them pretty regularly.

I personally love this new take on the dungeons. For those complaining, it's fair to want more classical dungeons that have more puzzles and enemies but I would not trade any of that if it meant less shrines/enemy camps/mini-bosses in the open world. I remember in past Zeldas, there would be a specific fight or puzzle from a dungeon that I wanted to replay, BotW sticks all that in the open world so you fight bosses and solve puzzles/Shrines again.

Ideally we have both but I think they've struck a really good balance between open world and dungeons, especially when you take into account the lead-up to the divine beasts.

Question about the Master Sword:

if I have the sword with 13 hearts and then switch one heart to stamina, thus having 12 hearts, can I still use the sword?

115 hours later, I finish. Terrific game, still mulling it over. It hasn't topped Majora's Mask for me, but 2nd place might be a nice fit.

I got 99.91% completion rate after I beat the game. I got all shrines, seeds and killed all bosses. So I guess I am missing an area name, but fuuuuck that I am not combing the map again lol

That's crazy that you managed to get all korok seeds but are still missing 1 area... Did you check the spring at the northwest of Hebra? I randomly stumbled upon it when I was trekking the mountains, small isolated area at the edge if the map, only had ores there.

Jesus, I'm at like 90 hours and I'm at 28% completion. Either I'm slow as hell or you're a wizard. Did you just use a guide for the seeds?

There are multiple classic Link outfits. Like 4 are amiibo-exclusive, but one is in-game.
That's not a classic outfit as in from a specific game like the others.
That's pretty shitty.

I fucking hate Amiibos because of stuff like this.
Yeah me too. Kind of expected better of Nintendo. Not affected my enjoyment of the game, but would have been really cool to stumble across those in-game.

Any hint (not exact location) on where to find a Great Fairy Fountain? I just need the NPC who talked about it, if possible.

Already found the fountains in
Kakariko, Tabantha, and near Tarrey Town
