All my PS4 and XB1 physical games have massive installs and day one patches, too. Uncharted 4 takes up 50GB, even with the disc. I'm really not seeing the difference here. Why's this new? Why are people flipping out over this?
When you bought uncharted 4
Could you play the game without the patch yes or no? Yes
Say you have no internet or access to internet, can you play the game yes or no? Yes
It still installed 50GB's of game data
Making load times faster, assets, etc.
Legos on the other hand is 1/3rd of the game on cart, 2/3rds you have to DL
It would be like Uncharted 4, you can play the first 6 chapters, but not the next 18
Have to download the remaining file!
Hell you might not even get to start the game cause files are missing!
Then think about in the future, when service goes down, you pick up retro Uncharted 4, at least you have access to the base game, w/o patch and DLC, etc.
Legos you shit outta luck, you have 1/3rd the game, 2/3rd missing, gone...
