Yep, chip port. they even re-used the name with only a "2" to differentiate and called it a day. Lazy.I think they will reuse the one from the first game...

I think our hype is in check. It says "mostly ARMS and Splatoon 2".You guys are getting too hyped over this presentation and you all are going to be severely disappointed when its mostly gonna be splatoon and arms.
Spring started like three weeks ago
Wii U is dead :'-( Directs were almost made for Wii U and not Wii U is not even mentioned.

As mentioned before, I feel like Pokémon (if Stars is an actual thing & it's indeed Switch-bound this year) will be a separate reveal ahead of E3, be it a Pokémon Direct or an out-of-the-blue reveal like OR/AS. I'd imagine that The Pokémon Company would want to dominate the headlines rather than sharing the spotlight for the initial reveal.Expecting:
ARMS
Splatoon 2
Fire Emblem Warriors and Echoes
Zelda DLC
Indie Reel
Release Dates for Steep, Splatoon 2 and ARMS
One of the 2 big Ubisoft announcements
Keep Mario, Retro Studios, Xenoblade 2, Other Ubisoft game, Pokémon, Fire Emblem and other surprises for E3.
Of course it is, its discontinued, meaning none are being made anymore. All Directs in the future will be Switch/3DS only.
I wonder how much content ARMS will have. If boxing rounds are the whole game it might be below $60 MSRP, but I'd be curious how they would be able to implement a single player mode if they plan to do that.
We'll know for sure if Soraya Saga retweets it. If she does, then peace out!

Chances of Virtual Console being announced in this?

Was looking forward to watching this Direct, but now I am dead instead. Thanks a lot.

if VC does nothing new and is just late in a disappointing way then theres a chance
if they actually have something interesting to say itll be saved for e3
If I were to guess... infinitesimal.

I'd say close to zero. That's an E3 announcement imo.

Guys keep expectations low, i don't think we'll get new games announcement or virtual console stuff, just some more Arms and Splatoon gameplay, characters reveals and i guess release date. For everything else, E3 is around the corner
I wish more than anything that Nintendo would release an ARMS multiplayer demo. Even if it was timed -- kind of like the testfire period for Splatoon 2 -- that would really get people talking.
ARMS is a game that you need to play for a few rounds before you understand how deep and complex (and fun) it can be. Nintendo would be wise to get this in the hands of potential buyers *before* it launches.
Seems like I'm wrong, I was under wrong assumption then. Whend did they confirm it to be a new campaign?
Outside of of the two games mentioned, not expecting anything but a few additional details on already announced games. Hopefully it's more than that, but it seems super unlikely.
