Nintendo Direct on April 12 (3PM PT, Switch/3DS, mainly Splarms)

Alright, that's a wrap! Pretty interesting Direct, went pretty much as expected. That Battle Chasers Night War looked good, will be looking into that.

Not an amazing Direct, but a solid one to tide us over until E3. I'm happy. Wish there was Pokémon spinoffs in it, but happy regardless.

Ehhh, Splatoon 2's resolution looks poor, and jaggies everywhere ;'[

Hopefully it turns out to be a great game, but this Direct didn't do anything for me. I think I'll hold off longer to pick up a Switch.

Solid direct!. Liked the new format with the scrolling agenda/teases.

Arms looks interesting, but I feel like I have to try it for myself. Some 3DS stuff I'm interested in there too.

Splatoon 2 is sooner than I was expecting!

They said they were focusing on Arms and Splatoon and people are mad that megatons weren't dropped?

Truly shocking. Some people need to grow up.

Was a really solid direct, far more shown than I thought and more than enough info to tide me over until e3. Good stuff!

Also: Yellow joy-cons. I am so in. Glad I waited on getting a second pair :)

Pretty disappointing direct. Wasn't expecting tons of stuff but was at least hoping to hear about a web browser or media apps or Virtual Console. Nothing seen here excited me.

Be glad they even added some other stuff than just Splatoon and ARMS.

I'm still not too keen on ARMS I still feel they could've bundled the game on Switch's release.

Splatoon 2 is ok...probably gonna get it due to the fact that I'm an S Rank Splatoon 1 player.

Students will be entering summer break in Japan around that time, so it makes sense at least for there.

Yeah, it's my last day of work before summer break. I think it is perfectly timed, in fact exactly to be expected.

Did the NA Direct suck or something, because Japan's was pretty cool.

I went in expecting ARMS and Splatoon 2 dates, came out pleased. I'll be picking up Mario Kart, ARMS, and Splatoon 2, and with the insane amount of games coming on PS4 and PC, I'll be happy enough!

Though VC news would be spectacular, even still.

I was expecting Splatoon in July but dang Arms in June....at least we got to see a new character.

Haven't payed to much attention to directs beforehand but I'm guessing this one was at a faster paced and a lot more different? If so hopefully it's a reflection on what their E3 one is gonna be like.

The people complaining about VC aren't excited for Namco Museum? We're getting arcade games that haven't been released before! Damn millenials.

12 fucking Amiibo.

TWELVE!

And 9 release on the same day.

Fucking kill me for undertaking a full collection.

edit: 13! I forgot about Pikmin!
