First Look at Inhumass from new TV Series

Grounded Black Bolt is going to be so *awesome*. Far more awesome then normal old cosmic mega badass Black Bolt.

Is the dude who plays Blackagar Boltagon supposed to be a well known actor? Cause I really have no idea why he's not wearing a mask

Fuck your face, just fucking act

Woah, just found out the actor playing Black Bolt is 44.

I always thought the character was traditionally depicted a lot younger?

I'm excited this looks like trash because when it bombs, Marvel can stop trying to push them altogether.

The Inhumans without the Fantastic Four to set them up are just too fucking leftfield.

Nah, people were still disappointed in Iron Fist. I need to know CW fans' secrets on how to deal with garbage TV.

Post repeatedly in the OT thread until you turn it into an unreadable pile of shit, them fellate the show in S5 until there's an episode you don't like and go "show ruined"?

its like they didnt even give a fuck

What happened to marvel studios thing of 'respecting the material' ?

If they wanted Inhumans to be their x-men AT LEAST be better than the x-men in one regard.

A lot younger? I don't think so. He spent years in isolation, became king, then went through a lot of shit. He's at least 35, but I'd put him in his 40s.

Also, he has a child and Maximus (a grown man) is his younger brother.

This isn't marvel studios.

Guys... this is an EW shoot. They can make anything look cheap and unexciting even when it's not.

Wait for official photos of the show as its meant to be seen.

I'm still waiting for the Captain America and Iron Man DLC for Mortal Kombat.

Scott Buck appears to be on a war path to make every Marvel show he helms look like shit.

Kinda hard to hold back my reservations when it's Scott goddamn Buck.

Looks lame. It'll probably be able to outdraw SHIELD's current pathetic ratings though, so I guess it's an upgrade for ABC.

I may hate watch it.

I should clarify, by "lot younger", I meant in his late twenties, early thirties.

But yeah, I guess being in his 40s is an appropriate age given his history.

Well I wasn't sure my anticipation for this could crater any further than it had but good gravy. I was actually interested in an Inhumans film but this is just, no, take it back and put it out of its misery.

The Inhumans aren't super exciting on their own, they're more interesting as a background presence in a greater universe. So of course instead of having any of that in the MCU films we get a network TV show with them as the focus. And it looks like this and is run by the same guy who ran Iron Fist. Oh joy.

To be fair, what were people thinking Medusa would look like?

The real horror story will be inevitable CGI hair. It's going to be awful.

And for those thinking that special FX/CG will help, it may

But remember this is a TV show, not a movie. It premieres in less than 4 months and they are shooting most everything now. Not a ton of post time comparatively.

And of course a TV show budget for anything beyond the first 2? I forget how the deal with IMAX works

Well, I read that Medusa's hair is a "work in progress" so I guess there's some hope there. Doesn't really change how un-regal these costumes look though.
