Yes it is. Running in performance mode. Haven't tried quality mode yet.

Is the frame rate nice and steady? It looks pretty smooth from the videos I've watched.
Great impressions! Wow, this has a pretty complicated system, in terms of upgrading. Pleasantly surprising. Keep the impressions coming, and I hope things are OK from a health standpoint.
Framerate holds solid and no tearing of any kind so far. The big video is up but just waiting for it to become 1080/60 before I post it.

OK, I finally found that switch in that underground section.
O.k everybody! Finally got my footage to process in proper HD. Performance Mode, PS4 Pro, 1080/60, first hour leading up past the first boss fight. I also included a look at every option in the settings menu. I edited out a lot of deaths, this game is harder than Nioh, at least so far.

That is certainly interesting to hear. Any particular reason you feel this way?
I honestly can't pick any one reason why. All I know is I died more in the first level and boss here, than I did in my first few hours of Ni-oh. Now, I will say that I played all the beta's and stuff that Ni-oh had put out.
So maybe that is influenced by the fact that I was already very familiar. Also healthwise, it's hard to focus and play as well as I'd like. So just playing for a couple of hours can be pretty taxing. In terms of gameplay reasons for it, I talk about it in my impressions video, blocking so far can feel a bit hit or miss. At least in my experience early on.

Ahh didn't take that into consideration but I had been hearing from some people who have gotten the game already that it is very challenging and harder than some of its contemporaries.
.Does the game have a difficulty option...?

It really does. If you told me that this was from a respected, high end developer, I'd believe you.
Looks right up my alley.
All the options are nice, especially being able to turn off the slow mo cam thing for finishers and even setting it at different levels if you like it but not all the time. Gotta say the opening is surprisingly well done as well and the graphics are pretty sharp even if the MC is a bit bland.

Well guys. I'm glad I have helped but I have to remove the videos. They sent me a polite email saying that they are happy that my videos are positive and they are excited to see people being sold on the game because of them but somebody from neogaf and YouTube has sent multiple emails complaining about me posting the videos.
I kindly explained the situation and because he was very polite I will put them down until the 12th. Just kind of crappy somebody here went and complained. Oh well, I hope that my videos were informative for you guys!

i've watched gameplay up to that point, the majority of enemies are the 5 different kind of guys in suits.
But theres some little yellow pod things that suit lazers, and robot doggos.
Can't really comment on level design just by watching, it all looks the same with different color tones. (Like really heavy red lighting in one area,really blue in another)

I get what you mean. It's just so atypical and I think that's what makes it "cool". I'm suddenly a lot more invested in the whole thing. That came out of the left field. I'm almost definitively going to buy this at launch now.

Cohh isn't planning on playing til Friday and that's when they asked Phloxy to take his videos down til. So should be fine I reckon.
I heard that the game is 1080P/60 and dynamic 4K/30 on Pro. This is a good way to do pro support but I do hope that the 60FPS is actually 60FPS and not a target 60. If it is then that's be mighty impressive.
The other thing I hope is that this game turns out good, not just because I want the developers to be supported but also because (a bit more selfish reasons) I don't want to put faith in them and get this full price to play on launch day only for the game to drop in price 2 weeks later because it turned out to be mediocre.

People on YT and even here can be surprisingly petty. Going to great lengths like mailing a publisher because they saw someone post videos of a game that already has lots of video footage online available with commentary.
Yes I know embargoes and all but come on lol. Someone here took time out of their day to do all this.
