Sony E3 Conference confirmed for usual time (Monday 6pm PT)

Do they ever play with the camera during gameplay in amazing ways like they did with the old games?

I'm with you! My best friend and I went to a midnight release for Red Dead Redemption and the game ended up being one of the top games of all time for the both of us. I remember last year's E3, and the rumors going around that RDR2 had been pulled from Sony's conference at the last minute, (which apparently wasn't true) and then a few months later Rockstar's teaser images and the reveal trailer. Our hype was through the roof. And since then, not a word!

New IP: Guaranteed at least one, probably indie.
Free Space
Knack 2: it's coming out this year so it's gonna get a release date
Detroit: This one is least likely from the line, but we've known about this for a long ass time, it has to be close.

Should really have added "New 1st Party IP" because now you said it, yeah, that's an easy Bingo. The hardest Bingo is definitely diagonally from DMC5 to Ratchet and Clank.

EDIT: Just hastily added in (1st Party) under the New IP bit to make it a tad harder.

You know, I often see people asking for leaks and speculating why there aren't any. I'm willing to give this guy some leeway because 'perhaps' he's legitimate. Unfortunately we'll probably get less leaks in the futures ... And I can't quite put my finger on why.

I know. It's painful... but it's also how Rockstar rolls.

I also have a theory that RDR2 actually shows up on Microsoft's stage, running on Scorpio. I think there would be no better way to sell people on a new console than having the #1 most anticipated game of the year running on your new console.


But there's definitely the relationship between Sony and R* with RDR2, so it popping up on Sony's stage is definitely more likely.

What about DMC5?
 
What if Sucker Punch new IP is an open world sci-fi Racing game ? Sony already have a lot of Action exclusive games, what we need now is a new racing game to compete with Forza Horizon series.
 
Looking forward to more info on God of War / Last of Us 2 / GT and maybe Bloodborn 2 reveal.

Treat for me this year would be a return of the Alundra games. Everything else was announced at the last 2 E3/PSX its the only series outstanding for me.

Yeah but for RDR2 it was different. They've never come out with an announcement trailer that featured a release window and preorders before. I mean I understand why they've been quiet, with the big titles these last 5 months who has really cared about games coming in the fall until now?

I'm just hoping next week sees something since its right before Take Two's investors call and RDRs 7th anniversary.

No way MS gets anything for E3 though. The Sony partnership likely means marketing and likely more like GTAV's release and bundles so I'd only expect it on Sony's stage, unless they announce a delay. If they don't announce a delay, maybe we keep an eye on Hotel Figuroa since they like to use that a lot....
 
What I'd like to see:

- Spider-Man gameplay
- God of War 'bring the floor down' gameplay with release date
- Make Days Gone interesting
- Sucker Punch New IP
- An interesting 'show' like last years orchestra

What I wish for:

- Spyro trilogy remake
- Bloodborne 2
- 007 game from Sony x Remedy

What I don't want:

- Going back to doing regular and long conferences
- Too much VR and no stage demos
- Keep business stuff on the down low, I only care about the games being properly presented
- No Death Stranding or The Last of Us 2 until solid gameplay is ready and not 2-3 years away from launch

Is there a 'joke' e3 bingo? Like ubisoft will have weird dancings, microsoft will bring a singer, ea will bring a sportsman to play, square will say to keep excited, etc?

I'm not sure whether you could get up to 24 squares with that, but I'll have a think about it and see if I can do one.

We're overdue for a James Bond game. I sure wouldn't mind Remedy being behind the wheel, but I doubt they'd do a Playstation exclusive, I think they're going multiplatform. My dream scenario would be a James Bond game by Naughty Dog using the Uncharted formula. Wide linear, cinematic action/adventure, driving segments, gunplay, set pieces, globe-trotting. I think it would be awesome.
 
No one is mentioning it at all but is anyone expecting Horizon DLC? I am all over that and it would probably be good timing.

I would love a
Rost Prequel but anything will do honestly. Loved the game
