This track's gonna play when it's time to sign the documents.
And that freaking Banana hair. If he loses a round in the Hillside Plaza stage and gets the bananas on his head, they just blend into his hair.
Dragon's dogma on pc is not a port, same goes for every other x360 era capcom (as in not outsourced) game that is also on pc.
The new MvC however looks boring as hell so far, compared to 3 which looked just fine to me.
what i miss are the original art work from the OG Capcom artist.

I feel like I am alone in thinking MVC3 looked like total dogshit. Granted the new one is even worse and lacks any defining style, but I also felt that only MVC1 looked great and correctly captured the allure of the source material properly. (MVC2 was just all over the place and doesn't really count)
I never played SF4 but I watched matches alllll the time.
I can't watch SF5. Nicali really bothers me. What a barf of a character design.

That's Capcom's idea of cool.
Even had that trash theme added to the trailer. Like, it's like your dad trying to dress like you while holding a boombox saying "yo homie yo", that's what it was.
They don't get it.
You are clearly being disingenuous and leaving out his story and battle costumes but that's expected coming from you.

I totally agree about MVC1 and 2, but I don't know, 3 always did the job for me. I guess you could argue it looks a bit boring and the backgrounds were just there but overall nothing stood out as bad for me.I feel like I am alone in thinking MVC3 looked like total dogshit. Granted the new one is even worse and lacks any defining style, but I also felt that only MVC1 looked great and correctly captured the allure of the source material properly. It's not capcom's idea of cool, it's capcom's idea of neo shadoloo.
If you don't think it's cool, that's fine, someone else might (and probably does, because taste isn't universal).
Your mistake is thinking that somehow these designs are tailormade to your preferences, they aren't.
You can think that whatever you want, but that doesn't make his theme song trash or his design uncool, because those thing are, as a matter of fact, subjective.
Your second mistake was using subjectivity as proof in an argument.
You know that I can't talk SFV with you with your "Captain Save-A-Game" mindset towards it lol. You can keep defending this all you want because you like it but my statement stands.
You need to take that cape off and stop heading to the booth.
Oh the irony of "Captain Save-A-Game" comment, especially with you moving every goal post imaginable in Tekken 7 threads. At least I admit the obvious issues ("cool" isn't one of them) with SFV unlike you with Tekken, so if anyone has a cape (with Harada's name on it), it's clearly you.

Why are you so defensive? If you think dude is cool and the trailer is cool you can think that but I heavily stick by that statement because that's what I feel. Secondly, you need to relax because you've got an issue with others' opinions. If you disagree? Like I've said before, you can disagree but it really looks as though you're hurt by the fact that I said it's not cool so you're trying to respond defensively when you yourself weren't damaged towards the post for some reason. My post isn't an attack towards you so what's your issue? The mistake here is the fact you got upset at someone's post on a forum towards a fictional character. That's lame.
I don't know what you're on but you need to chill. If you think that's cool? Keep thinking that because I'll keep saying it was lame. Nowhere in my post did I say "if you think this is cool you're out of touch so get defensive." You can't make me change my words lol.
There's nothing factual in what you said here, yet you state it as if it is, trashing his theme song also did nothing to strengthen your argument. That's Capcom's idea of cool.
They don't get it.
Did Dimps work on SFV?
I think Capcom, from the PS3/360/Wii days onward, tried too hard to appeal to western demographics and lost their traditional japanese feeling. IMO, they went through a process to become a western developer. That's why some of their games like RE and DMC became more like of a game target for the western tastes and Lost Planet, Dragon's Dogma and Dead Rising, very western aesthetic-like, got a special attention.
I think they should go back to their roots and bring back their traditional feeling again. They aren't western, despite their attempt to sound like.
What an incredible shitpost.
I wasn't defensive before but I sure am now.
My post was nothing more than a statement on how inaccurate your statement was. I was not upset, I was not defensive; you said something that wasn't accurate and I called that out.
Your next reply even had an ad hominem because someone disagreed with you, perhaps you are the one that needs to "chill".
My post was never about me, or what I think about the character, I never posted my opinion on the character, and in fact wasn't actually about the goddamn character specifically but about you using a subjective matter as some sort of proof that they "don't get it":
There's nothing factual in what you said here, yet you state it as if it is, trashing his theme song also did nothing to strengthen your argument.
You don't like it, fine, but that doesn't mean "they don't get it", it just simply means you don't like it, period.
On the one hand, if you look at RE6 and RE7, Capcom's somewhat lost their spark.

Just like everything else, it isn't what all RE fans would like. So even with "near universal acclaim" it doesn't make it perfect.RE7 is an amazing game with near universal acclaim.
Not sure what you're on about.

*shitpost*.
OP you gonna get some shit for dissing on Juri! :lol
We are well beyond that. I do regret singling her out, honestly. Should have picked Fang.

Lol, "dawg" I don't even know who you are, you must have some ego to think I'm somehow targeting you, smh jesus christ.
I also haven't made a single post in this thread "defending capcom" at all, but you are free to point those posts out if you want.
And lastly, my reply to you was no different than this post in reply to ike, correcting an incorrect statement, but look at the extreme difference in reaction, the only one that got upset here is you.
Sure go ahead and not care, I never said you should care, I just said what you said is wrong :], you can do with that info what you want, but "sticking by your statement" is such a fine attitude to have on a discussion forum, goes well with the ad hominem usage.
Carry on.
