Easy Allies @ E3 2017 Streaming Thread & Schedule

I hope Brad gets promoted to the big table today. Pre- and post show they should rotate people a bit so that it doesn't get too boring for the guys in the back save for stream supervior Damiani maybe who did a really fine job yesterday on the tech side.

They said yesterday that they were going to rotate, including camera responsibilities.
(I'd expect Damiani on deck for Nintendo)

I'm ready for a new E3 day! Really excited to see what Microsoft has to announce, see more Sea of Thieves, and new hardware is always exciting.*

edit: btw does anyone know if/when Kyle will be at a Youtube Gaming thing today with Keighley?

Definitely feel they have been forcing their reactions after the Shenmue reveal.

I really wish there was a mute Huber option

Think i'm just going to sleep through Bethesda now. I haven't been to bed before 6am since Thursday and I'm shit at sleeping in the morning.

Give the beer a miss until tomorrow too.

I don't think they force reactions. They seem genuine. The problem for me is that game journalists should not have reactions that excessive, lol.

The challenge for today will be to stay awake or preferably wake up in time for Bethesda, alarm clocks are not an option. Usually my internal clock works well for things like this but maybe I'll help by drinking a lot of water/soft drinks so I'll be up a few times during the night.

Been up since 8am for work.
I will probably be awake for like 20 hours straight lol

Also have the shop to myself so everybody is listening to EZA until I close :P

How early is it for you? I feel lucky to be in the same time zone as e3, I can't imagine how many people can actually watch Bethesda without being inconvenienced.

/s on

art critics must dislike art
how can you possibly have an honest opinion on something you enjoy

EZA keeps it real, which I highly appreciate
muted reactions from them to stuff they care about would literally be fake

Microsoft sooooon

This is an honest question: how much EZA content do you watch on a regular basis?

Because I find it hard to believe anyone would watch their normal shows and podcasts and think they somehow play it up for live streams. They're always pretty excited about games, and I had the same reactions as Huber when Need for Speed turned out to be exactly what he said it would be, and A Way Out was announced, which is 100% up Huber's alley (so long as they let you steal a guard's shotgun at one point).

And a follow-up question: Did you think Huber's reaction to Visceral's Star Wars game not getting announced was fake as well? The disappointment on his face was glaringly apparent, but nobody talks about those emotions being fake, just the happy ones.

I know this discussion has been had a million times, and I feel like I used to think similarly when I watched other people for my gaming content, but I still have trouble understanding why people would think it's fake. EZA really changed my outlook on the industry and I am much more positive about it all now. They really are just that jolly.

EZA pre show starts at 5am, staying up till then wouldn't be a problem, but waking up will be hard especially since I haven't slept a lot and regularly recently. Sony's time might actually be worse for Europeans but we're used to it and I usually stay up late anyway. Edit: Also the excitement is higher for Sony and that makes things easier.

I feel so bad for my customers the next 2 hours until I close.

Obviously they come absolutely first but I'm not going to lie I'll have one ear and eye glued to the stream.

Nah, that's just how Huber is. The others keep it in check for the most part, but Huber is a living, breathing hype machine. That shit courses through his veins.

Yep.

Ready for Day 2 coverage... :)...

Suck that Bethesda (11:00) and Devolver (00:00) (UTC-5h) choose an awful time to present their conferences...
