It's going to backfire. We saw it with SFV. We're seeing it with MVC:I. It's going to happen here. They'll continue to make excuses, but they've run out of room to run.
I haven't been following MvC. What's wrong with that game?

Re-read it, the question is about what world is, and if XX Switch is still coming.
When did you say that XX wasn't going to get localized?
If they're betting the farm on World, then I don't know if there is going to be a Capcom to localize it if World does flop. This decision seems like it's pointing at World being a major make or break moment for them, and if it does fail, I don't know how their shareholders don't revolt after years of underperformance on every franchise but Monster Hunter.
It's pretty ugly. And the roster isn't great.I haven't been following MvC. What's wrong with that game?
That actually doesn't change my point at all
, which is true if you're trying to say Capcom wasn't aware of Vita.
Anyway I'm going to block you, your response to everything is "you're a troll", and personally I'm not fond of bashing my head against brick walls.

I'm confused.. can someone explain the issue here?
What I will tell you, though... is I haven't bought anything from you guys since Resident Evil VII. And I have no clue when I'll buy anything from you again.
It would still be two similar games from the same series made available around the same time. People interested in Monster Hunter will be more likely to give World a chance if its the only option.
why is it not named MH5 tho 🤔It is MH5 for all intents and purposes.
Dragonball Fighters is upstaging it left and right. Anx its slow and ugly.I haven't been following MvC. What's wrong with that game?
I would love for it to turn out to be great. But I can't see this as anything but a betrayal of their fanbase of handheld players. Especially in Japan where the home console market is dying and PS4 sales are shockingly average. Not that I disagree; but we should probably reserve judgement on World until it comes out. It could actually be great and an evolution of the franchise.
Just don't pre-order (not that anyone should ever pre-order anyway)
Why would you not want a completed game that is half localized to finish localization for the people who want it? What literal purpose could you have for that besides being spiteful?

The opposite is also true, isn't it? If they skip an installment now that clearly has demand for it, I don't know how they won't shed a chunk of the fan base that now has cold feet on the commitment Capcom has for the series. It's not even a new problem for Capcom, as Ace Attorney has never really recovered properly after they skipped AAI2.
Honestly if the subtitle was anything other than "World" I'd think it was a soft reboot. World sounds super spinoff-y; not sure why they went with it if this is mainline.why is it not named MH5 tho 🤔
It got upstaged by Dragon Ball.
DRAGON
BALL
It simply looks terrible every way you look at it. Character designs, stages, UI. A lot of the characters are straight-up ripped out of MVC3 and are made to look worse.
This is the second time I'm having to say this but, I told y'all.
Having said that, we gotta make noise if we want this to be localised.

For me it's ok, I was going to buy MH World instead of XX anyways because it seems to be the newer, more modern version, properly updated for our tastes.
But it would be nice to see XX localized too in order to play it somewhere in the future. And for western players who have a Switch and not PS4/XBO/PC. The more people play MH, the better.
In any case, I understand that for many years Nintendo has been paying to keep MH outside Vita and PS3 and now it's their turn to don't get MH.

Will this game sale more than Tri Wii? Not even a well known game like Street Fighter have yet to reach 2 million after a year.
In the MHXX thread a few times ealier today.
wasn't COD4 the start of CoDmania? They're trying to draw in first timers to the series. Nobody wants to join a franchise on its 5th entry, especially if they didn't enjoy 3 or 4.
This is a fresh start for everyone.
This probably being close to the truth makes me think/hope that an 5 might be a portable, traditional style game on Switch or crossplatform.According to the rumor (that was spot on except for this part), this was intended to be called MH5. They probably changed it at the last minute.
Capcom is banking on World getting the mass audience that may be interested in MH but are turned off by the series' combat system and controls. There's a lot out there.
That said, localizing XX does no damage whatsoever to that plan, so it still has Capcom in the wrong regarding that.
Who knows though? Maybe Nintendo is like "oh you did a deal for the main MH in the west on everything but our new system? Well we wish you the best for the localisation of xx on Switch in the West."
Stories is probably related to an older deal...?
But why skip bringing worlds to Switch?
They build a pretty big west following on Nintendo hardware it's pretty crazy to skip that. I guess it will sill come but months later.
And yes i can play it on my PS4 but i won't double dip.

Because a lot of PS and MS fans who haven't had MH on their consoles would wonder where MH 1-4 were.
