Somehow I'm not surprised haha!

Oh well I'm #TeamM&M for life! (Team Marina and Marie)

Yeah with a tattoo on my back later this year or early next year too:P (based on that official nintedo 2d art of em http://imgur.com/l1JReGT)

I actually considered having Marina too but i already have a couple of zelda tats so i kinda only want a few more max to not have too many.

Will buy the Marina amiibo instead tho!

I'm only level 10. Yet why do I face off against level 20s and above on the opposing side?
Though your condiment choice is admirable you are nontheless a traitor to your false idol.

May you rot alongside her in her delicious doughy prison. =P

I'm really hungry.
I don't serve idols. I stand for myself!

Speaking of which there was an awesome mayonnaise Miiverse post in Splatoon 2 that explained it perfectly. Nonetheless Marina for life! Take your Pearl and vamoose!

Oh that's pretty cool!

someone just described rainmaker as 'football if the football was a gun' and i think that's not bad

That's how I describe it. Except rocket launcher instead of gun.

In all honesty, the level is really just how much progress someone has made in unlocking weapons. It doesn't really denote skill level, so because of that, matchmaking doesn't take it into account.
I'm pretty sure Turf War tries to use some hidden metric to gauge matchmaking, as implied in the recent patchnotes, but it's probably not directly reliant on the level. It's simply not a ranked mode.

I had a similar situation in salmon run where all my teammates were dead with 10 seconds left on the last wave, I was trudging through ink barely surviving while they were all headings towards me as life preservers, and with my dying shot I revived all 3 and they held on to win the round.

That's enough Salmon Run for me

No bosses on one side of the map...that's where the "teammates" are

Bosses on the other side of the map...nobody there to help

I'm just sitting there practically screaming to myself in my head "What the f--- are you people doing?"

Hell I had one game where it took 2 of the people about 20 seconds to get to the coast for a Wave because they just stayed on top inking an area that wasn't even being used that round

So for anyone that remembers I posted about not getting Nintendo gold coins for my Splatoon 2 game that was bundled.

Got response from Nintendo and

"As in your case, the game you acquired was in a bundle, it doesn't qualify for you to be awarded My Nintendo Gold Points."

So just a little cheaper than buying them separately, no cartridge or case and not even some silly gold coins :(

Not a big deal but for anyone that didn't know in regards to bundled games.

Ya know for as salty as I get in Salmon Run, I have to admit it's a pretty balanced game dare I say.

The weapon load outs can be pretty un-agreeable, but I think its a great way to teach not only new people but also veterans how to get better with a weapon(s) they either don't use or can't properly use when things get crazy.

The enemies can be challenging, but that can also depend on the weapon being used. Which SHOULD make people consider which enemies they go after and what position they have to make things easier for the team. (Flyfish need fucking nerfed though)

The maps take some getting used to and with things like low tide, high tide, Griller, Mothership, etc. gimmicks, things can get out of control fast! But understanding all of it; maps and gimmicks, enemies, and the weapons being used, can (usually) help trivialize the challenge. Then again, sometimes RNG just hates ya.

I agree completely, I'm enjoying it very much. But seeing teammates with the ideal weapons for a type of boss ignoring said boss is so frustrating at times.

Finally unlocked the Tri-Slosher.

Guys, I think this weapon might be pretty good. I mean, it kills in two hits and doesn't require any real degree of aiming. Plus it comes with one of my favorite specials. I'm not ready to call it OP, but I like it WAY more than the normal slosher, probably because the normal one required a modicum of skill to use well.

If any gaffers want to play Salmon Run add me, SW-3446-7443-8899. If I have to play anymore games with randoms who don't know what they're doing I'm probably gonna put my Switch through the wall.

I've been using tri slosher in ranked, but decided to try out the splattershot pro in turf wars and it's a ton of fun. I'd eventually like to move away from the tri slosher to get more precise in my aiming. Tri will always have a place in my heart though.

I see people with the Splatterscope go after generic Smallfry instead of trying to hit a Steelhead or Drizzler and it really is frustrating.

Who's using a LAN Adapter for their Switch for Wired ethernet play?

I need to get one if I want to play in my room.

Which is the best one to get for the Switch?

I just bought the cheapest one off Amazon for like 12 bucks with USB 3.0. Reviews and/or description generally say if it works with the Switch.

Somebody should be beside a splatterscope user when he/she is trying to snipe at all times when positioned at the dangerous area. The user's vision is limited that is why somebody should take care of the generic guys or maws trying to attack the sniper.

Last time, the inkbrush user is the key since he/she is the best at reviving and collecting eggs. That role this time around should be holder of the jr. Spread the ink, assist at killing and collecting eggs, and approach the dead party member quickly.

how does the sewer thing in salmon work? no idea which gate to shoot open.

Find the thing that glows the most. Don't open those things at random or you'll be overwhelmed by salmonides very quickly.

This one is easiest when at high tide because of very small number of choices, so it's quicker to know which one has the boss.

Sitting in a lobby with every player present but it still says waiting for players. And because there's no backing out I just have to sit here and wait for the two minute timer to kick us all out. Ugh.

Thanks. Yeah they all seem pretty comparable and 12.99 is the cheapest one. Perhaps I'll just do one day shipping so it's waiting for me tomorrow when I get off of work :)

Lot of good items up in the App store. Motorbike helmet 3 slot with ink resist (less than 2 hours left), jelly cap 3 slot with main ammo increase (under 6 hours left), and camo jacket 3 slot with ninja squid (under 10 hours left).

Holy shit the people who just spam dodge roll because they aren't good enough to kill you straight up are so annoying

Yeah I'm salty, get over it

Do I miss out on any equipment or anything afterwards if I don't compete in a splatfest? Not feeling the theme this time around.

Yep, terrible theme following Cake and Ice Cream. I don't care for either of the condiments.

Still, picked one to play with friends as it goes forward. Hopefully the next oneis better.

Miss out on currency that pretty much equates to 20k a piece. The currency is used for ability upgrades/rolls/additions/wiping armor.

Also, if you're wanting to play Splatoon that day, you're forced to partake in the splatfest anyway.

I'm really starting to wish that the Splatfest T-shirts were unbranded, or had a brand with no ability influence. I thought I'd be farming tons of ability chunks off of mine but all I've been getting have been Ink Resistance ones. I mean, Ink Resistance is a great ability, but I like variety in my rewards.

Please tell me that the future Splatfest T-shirts won't all be the same brand, because I won't even bother grinding up those if they are, no matter how cheap it is for Murch to scrub them.

I was definitely getting a string of ink resistance and nothing else but the rng has gone the other way now and I'm getting some others too. I agree though, it's pretty annoying. They shouldn't be branded.

On a brighter note I got 8 run speed chunks from salmon run last night. Very happy about that.

Oh man, I just realized that Squidforce wasn't a neutral brand. No wonder the drink ticket didn't do that much for it.

I hope a less food oriented theme next time. Comedy or horror movies theme could be cool. :p

...Ketchup it is.
