People like you are the reason why weapons get unnecessarily nerfed. I hope Bungie doesn't touch it, except maybe reduce the flinch it causes.

Man, 260 is a wall if you don't say screw it and just use the "powerful gear" milestones. At this point, it seems none of the blues I get are 260+ yet, meaning I have to just farm for purple gear and hope it is for the slot I need.

The powerful gear will be there again next week.

The advice of waiting til 275-280 to using it was only relevant if you wanted to be 280+ by the time the raid rolled in.

I do feel that there are parts of this raid that will always be a pain regardless of the strats simply because of how they're designed. It'll just come down to people being more efficient at doing them.

Oh, I'm sure. In a few weeks will be more games though so I doubt I'll be concerned anyway. That wasn't a comment on the Raid or quality of it, just that...I don't have that kind of time for that kind of content.

This will put PC players in a weird place though. "What, you don't know how to do this yet? WTF is wrong with you?" =P

I have the same style of helm, but for some reason part of the glass on the front is blue, no matter the shader I pick. I assume there is a few helms with the same style. It has wires on the back of the head right?

No lol. Idk why people keep asking for loot caves. It was a necessity because bungies leveling, loot, and rng sucked in vanilla destiny. For the most part in this game you’re heavily rewarded for everything. If anything the entire game is a loot cave by design.

yup, I run this as my energy weapon in crucible. That 3 round burst with stability melts people.

So I use headphones to game and never bothered picking up a mod mic or anything. How would this raid go with an attentive but silent member? VoG was fine in D1, never attempted the others.

If your raid group is prepared to work around it, it won't be too big of a problem. Kadey doesn't use a mic, and I've finished every raid with her. Sometimes it required special looking out (in Wrath of the Machine Aksis, she always took middle when empowered, and I called out when she was empowered) or just something like "dance emote if <x>. Helps a lot if you are willing to listen to party chat, and communicate via psn or discord texts as well.

There was (is?) a Destiny 1 clan made up of mostly deaf players, and they finished raids. Just have to figure out what you need to do to accomodate your team.

Seriously. I enjoy strikes but after doing one and maybe getting an engram, I kinda wonder how many public events I could have done in that time. But on the flip side when I'm hopping from event to event it just gets old quick.

Just a ship. If you bought the physical collector's edition, you get a booklet that actually provides context for what the hell is going on. No reason to put that ingame for everyone, right?

Zavala has some good gear, but the grind for tokens is ridiculous. And you can't even buy the exact item you want, you just get a purple engram. To me, it's not worth it.

At least in D1, if a vendor had a gun you wanted, you could buy it. If I'm remembering correctly, in D2, you can see the possible vendor loot, but you can't purchase them... Just gamble on engrams.
