For whatever reason the new missions don't refresh until later on reset day. It was the same situation last week.

You actually did something wrong. You save planetary turn-ins for getting TO 265 quicker, not after that. After 265 you want to do milestones and exotic quests.

MSAA x4 wasn't able to clear up jaggies for me on a 1440p display (unless this was part of the bug), plus even if they fix up MSAA it is still going to be a resource hog. I've always had far better luck with getting a cleaner image with TAA; BF1 has probably the best TAA implementation I've ever seen, the game looks beautifully clean.
Also I believe there were some other options in the beta that were tanking performance, don't specifically remember which ones though.
As for class abilities being bound to a separate bind, I would appreciate a toggle to be able to double tap (at least for hunter dodge). Maybe because I'm so used to double tapping crouch on the controller.

Dammit was just about to go to the tower and cash in my purples and exotics and then bam server maintenance .

I'm in a pretty active xbox clan with a lot of IRL friends, but I plan on spending most of my time on PC when that comes out, and none/very few of my friends are making the switch. I'm looking to join an active clan for PC, I'm a pretty active raider, been to lighthouse a few times... overall a pretty focused player interested in getting shit done efficiently, but also chill.

This game was so broken for me today, it's fascinating.
First the game kept crashing while loading the tower. Then I got dumped in an instance with no NPCs, reloaded the instance through fast travel which made all the NPCs and players appear... but now the camera was following some random dude instead of my character.
Is this what happens when they miss the Monday maintenance?

Weekly downtown has killed this game for me. I'll be off playing another game that respects my time from here on out.

it honestly depends on the nightfall. Last weeks was so easy that almost anyone could basically be carried.
Public events are still a solid bet for leveling up. Try to find a fireteam or match up in an instance with rando's who know what they're doing to trigger the heroics.

Getting screwed out of gear to raise power is only really a problem at 300ish power. At this point I think most of GAF has pretty high power characters, so while 266 isn't great for nightfalls I think most people can make up the difference. Maybe just don't plan on getting Rat King until you have better gear.

Has there been any talk/hints/discussion on if they are looking to re introduce any of the D1 lore from TK/HoW/RoI?
Are they just going to override that DLC lore with new DLC from D2 or slide any of that stuff back in (outside of the reoccurance of the Taken in the game)

Wizards, knights with boomers, thrall melee, and cursed explosions are arc. The rest is void.
I just wish they didn't do it in prime European time for once. Even European developers do that shit.

Meditations don't reset with the weekly reset. They reset a day after.

Grind public events, the chance for exotic engrams is not bad. Also weekly milestones, there are two very easy ones every week (flashpoint and clan xp), plus nightfall isn't really hard. The PvP one recently had a change to reduce time required to finish it so it's a good idea to do that too. Lastly the 3 exotic weapon quests are mostly easy to do, Rat King is a bit tricky since it requires a fireteam but the other two can be done completely solo, and they both give you two high level weapons.
There's loads of throwbacks in all the scannables around the game world. Oryx gets mentioned a couple of times in the main story, as does SIVA I think. There's even a very subtle nod to Variks on the reef.

Yeah, but trying to get the square icon to actually pop up on scannable items is annoying. They should make the items glow or something. I hate walking around rooms like a drunk fool trying to find that 1 item,....
Hold your Ghost up, he'll be looking at the scannable item.

The ghost icon flashes if a scannable item is nearby. When nearby pull out your ghost it will face its direction.

Thanks sounds like it might be worth going that route this week, but it won't quited as strong as on Exodus Down.
300 Tokens per character, per faction. Only got two unique pieces of armor per character. I have enough Red Mambas to fill the Vanguard Armory. Really wish they would've added more to the Faction Rewards so they didn't have to pull this duping bullshit on players.

Your ghost follows them. It took me ages to figure that out, but now I never miss them.
