TLOU 2, Ghost and Spiderman looks amazing. Other than that nothing special for me.

So many secret megatons!

Wow the Microsoft show yesterday didn't look so bad afterall. Also, I don't think Death Stranding will ever get released. 3 years now and nothing definitive.

That Spiderman trailer didn't get me that hyped. Looks to cinematic and scripted.

Agreed. The entire time I was trying to picture how these sequences would actually play if I was playing it. I guess I'll have to wait for the "live" gameplay they said is coming up.

They somewhat catched themselves after the break but all in all.. I honestly am not convinced. Barely a game had a release date... I mean, they didnt even have things like "2019"... so most of them could even end up being a 2020 game.

I know I'll be in the minority here, but I greatly disliked this conference. That is because I fundamentally disagree with Sony's vision for gaming. Sony wants games to be movies. I don't.

A lot of what they showed felt pretentious, too.

I hope we'll see more of Dreams outside of those short intermissions.

And now I'll leave this thread to the fans.

RE2, Control, and Ghosts are the three take aways for me. Ghosts and Control are a wait and see, but RE2 is an instant buy for me. I'm blown away we didn't get a proper showing of Dreams.

i can't believe they used DREAMS scenes between games trailers and shown absolutely NOTHING about the game... WTF!?!?

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind like 5 minutes more of actual talking to hype me... like I love the games and it was cool to see those silly little guys playing music but... the presentation this year was MEh

Short. I'll give it a B, because I liked all of the games (except the Remedy game, which I'm hesitant of) and it definitely didn't' drag. Nioh 2 surprised me and the amount of gameplay was good. If they hadn't had that fucking terrible intermission that ruined the flow in the beginning, I'd have given it a B+.
Still a bit hesitant on the overuse of "stealth" in games across first parties and third parties.

Odd start with a Catholic joke about the Sony conference fulfilling Sunday mass obligation. That was probably lost on the majority of viewers.

The presentation was poor, would've preferred the format MS went with for sony, but of course they had to pad it out with concerts and whatever else. Waste of time imo.

It was a pretty underwhelming conference if I'm being honest. Not in the content necessarily -- what they showed looked awesome. But there were very few surprises, and I feel they needed that.

Maybe I'm tripping, but I'm starting to get disillusioned with modern games. They look like interactive movies, including the voice acting. It's like there are 3 or 4 templates for games that the majority of modern games fit into. There's less interesting gameplay concepts and more cinematic experiences. Thank God for Nintendo.

What's confusing about the format is it looks like we're switching back to Twitch's coverage but it's actually Sony's people. I'm sure they decided it'd be a good way to manage expectations so they can drop something. It makes no sense though, people are used to a full length 1.5 hour conference with stuff the whole time, not this talking head format.
