If pc's are monsters, compared to consoles, why wouldn't the performance gap increase even more for next gen as well?

Let's wait and see then. Again I am not referring to cross-gen games but strictly next-gen material.
Think that NBA2K14 and Fifa 14(the first next-gen versions)didn't came to pc. Imagine now that next consoles will be more powerful day one than the ps4/one were in their launch.

Is it so hard to comprehend that the average gpu on pc, gtx 1060, is better than the best consoles out currently....Do you have a Xbsx or ps5 to even constitute what next gen hardware is even comparable to in the first place?

If you do the math, or look at history, you should be able to conclude the average gpu will be better than next gen hardware as well, after its release. It's not rocket science you know....

No, but it could lead to more people doing the same if they played and enjoyed HZD and see HZD 2 on PS5.
Obviously not just HZD, but like Hulst said, they are looking at more ways.

What if horizon is a huge success on PC? Do you really think that this is going to be their last game on PC? Also, notive how he is not denying that there will be more PS exclusive games on PC. He is just saying that they won't be there on release, but might be a few months later. Just look at Death Stranding, a few months after release its going to be on PC. Also, the guy who predicted Horizon coming to PC also said that there are going to be more to follow

Do you like not having only 2 options of hardware from the same company? Ps4 or ps4 pro? And for years it was only one console choice, just the base ps4. Would you like seeing everyone in society wearing the same exact, shirt, pants, etc? What about everyone driving the same car, and same color as every vehicle on the road?

That's what it feels like to be gaming on consoles. No choice, and everyone has the same hardware. So if I want a better experience than sub 20fps games, I'm SOL. There is no mid cycle upgrade that I can do to a current console. I would be forced to buy another console. So that will choose over $1400, just for the console and psn for the console cycle, not even including games. Why not just build a pc at that point?
