The industry isn't friendly competition.... I doubt an employee did this on their own, knowing it would ruin their reputation and career. This is probably industrial espionage, he was probably paid by a competing platform (through an intermediary) to leak it.

This was done to cause maximum damage before Xbox reveal their new games in a couple of weeks.

PlayStation has 110 million consoles and sells the most software.... they should be pushing as many 3rd parties to go fully exclusive or threaten to not let them publish on PS4 at all. This is the type of aggressive moves they need to make. They could have 60% of big multiplats made exclusive or times exclusive by denying them access to the platform if they dont because it's worth too much......

Eh, toggling a game's difficulty shouldn't affect how good a game is, nor should it affect core gameplay mechanics. At least THAT much. I felt the exact same about the game in the long run, and I played on Normal. Never cared to play through again more than once.

TLOU2 legit sounds like potentially better gameplay and worse story.

I haven't seen the leaks, but from everything else I've seen, from the reveal to a couple of other pieces of officially released media, this game is looking to be a graphics showcase on PS4 thanks to that Naughty Dog polish. Agree, the game in grounded is a different beast that needs to be approached differently, make each bullet count, and the melee weapons have to be timed perfectly, one missed punch and you will end up dead. And frankly I enjoyed more the game on grounded.

Agree to disagree really. I get what you're saying, but IMO a great game pushes you to do those things without having to up the ante. The gameplay and combat mechanics for me in TLOU just felt diluted in my experience, I don't think difficulty would've changed my opinion on the game. There was so much praise on its stealth, combat, etc. But I had seen much better stealth and combat elsewhere. Making enemies harder to kill, making myself easier to kill, rationing things more, etc. doesn't equate an overwhelmingly better experience.

The moments I had the most fun was when I was shooting, resourcing, etc. Yeah, I think that's exactly what I will be doing, but I'm not gonna rush into it at all. Is being lesbian or transgender a bad thing? Is not the world more diverse and tolerant nowadays than 20 years ago, with what people like and how they choose to live their lives? These are fictional characters that portray real people ways of life and sexual orientation and nothing is wrong with that.
You don't like what they advertise? Good, it wasn't made for you. Don't buy it. And if you don't have anything new to play after turning down every company that cares for a more diverse mindset, maybe you are stuck on a particular mindset that does not let you enjoy these games for what they are and what they have to say that represents a particular/several way(s) of life.
