That Californian doctor duo video about the lockdown has been banned from media channels apparently. Didn't get to watch it personally, but apparently it included some alternative viewpoint and hope, which we can't have now can we.

You know what trying to hide something does?

These Antibody Tests are really difficult to put weight on. I don't know how they did the tests, but if everyone can go and get a test, it's pretty clear that people go that had some kind of symptoms in the last weeks. I think, Nevertheless. 15%-20% seems to be about right in New York. We've had 15% in a study in germany.
But if 15-20% had it, around 3-5% of the infected would be in serious condition and need ventilators. That would be around 50,000 to 80,000 in intensive care, which should overtax the hospitals. Yet some sources say the hospitals aren't overtaxed, some even say they're barely taxed.

That's what happens when even doctors spread fake news. Same thing with Dr Wakefield spreading his stupid fake vaccine shit got him banned from practicing medicine in the UK.

South Korea has done 600K tests.

USA about to hit 6 million shortly.

If South Korea were such gods at testing why did they stuck at less than a million for months? Shouldn't they have tested at least 10 million people at this point in time?

When a country can do more tests than the US then they can talk. And lets not go into per capita because there isn't a reason why a country with 50, 80, 100 million people would stop at 1 million tests and say we are done.

No one has done more tests because no one can, if they could they would. Germany the other gold standard has done 2 million tests. They have a population of 80 million people why haven't they tested more people? Shouldn't they want to test 10, 20, 40 million people? Mass wide scale testing?

And on testing, is Russia just BSing here or what? over 3 million tests?

lol wtf is this

blessed mmmurica

edit: For your information, Germany can do up to 700K tests a week. They are not doing them because there's a policy not to test people without symptoms ( which is a pretty wise decision ). Same goes for Korea btw.

I hate that this has settled into a 100% political issue now, really for both sides.

It was inevitable. This was always a complex balancing act to get life back on track and that's a divisive issue, largely because of the way the media frames everything in simple terms. There isn't much info being provided about the virus itself (has anyone been able to dismiss the Epoch Times doc's explanation of its makeup?) and the numbers themselves are being questioned by just about everyone.

That tweet sums it up perfectly. Good ol confirmation bias at play. But yes yes, it isnt the fact that they used findings riddled with statistical errors and are peddling misinformation. No it couldn't be that at all, it must be some devious plan.

Well GAF, I had/have covid toes. The other week the skin where the nail grows out of was slightly puffy and sore. Not excessively gross or anything but I thought it was blisters from my shoes. I go out maybe once every 10 days and I figured my feet forgot about shoes and threw a tantrum.

I have been completely fine otherwise. No cough or fever (yet). Felt normal and have been exercising a lot. I do smoke and drink a fair amount. Oh and I did a ton of drugs back in my heyday. What if being a substance abusing piece of shit is protection against the virus?

I'm in Ontario and I don't think we have antibody tests yet but I am very curious to know what happened. Maybe my feet did just blister.

As I watch the first part of Fuck China News (China in Focus)
There is this one guy in China they interviewed business owner with a family and a good life, they say he has no access to news outside of China he believes he has friends in high places and has access to everything anyone outside of China has. He goes on to say he does not need to know so much he says he is just a regular person and some of the matters being discussed are for the State and kinda none of normal people's business.

I start to wonder if I have it better than him, I don't like politics but even here when things like this become a political issue like all things end up being you have 2 voices, 2 sides to hear one version of the truth from.

Am I really better than the normal regular guy who thinks the CCP is giving him all the news he needs and he knows all he needs to know?

I'm just wondering if our two sides and the media that sides with them don't boil down to the same shit this man has accepted as his good life under the CCP?

When a topic like this becomes political it gets harder to feel bad for the CCP guy not getting the facts or not even caring there are different views outside of what he is told.

What I do feel or have learned here is I am free to disagree with one side or both sides and won't be killed for it.

I still don't feel like we are doing this any better. In the end when I say Fuck China I really mean Fuck the CCP. I should also say fuck Politics I hate that shit rots our brains.

This virus is going to make a lot of people rich

I've lived through decades of foot fungus and other foot issues ads on TV in the US sure I have watched less TV in the past 20 years but I remember foot issues being a thing for a long time. Kinda weird this virus has a foot fetish too the people who funded those ads are going to make a killing.

Brap in virus form. Goes after boomers relentlessly and has a thing for young peoples feet

Yup. Once it became clear that we weren't going to have people dying in the streets (about 2 weeks or so ago) it flipped political real fast. Really, it was when the models were radically adjusted downward.
It doesnt help that the heavily affected areas (like NYC) are blue and definitely will have problems opening as opposed to the much of the South and the West that just weren't hit as hard.

SK and now Germany have the outbreak under control. Germany is now using only half of its testing capability because they don't need the other half right now.

I AM SHOCKED! :messenger_winking_tongue:

I never even seen the video apart from some clips, but why do we need YouTube telling us one story and not telling us the other. It's like we're living in a videogame, like Her Story or something, where deception is everywhere and we're left puzzled and fucked by liars and cunts like the MSM, NPCs, and the NWO, man.

Thoughts on the article?

Eh, I see our civilization forking in the near future. I take a book like Virtual Light by William Gibson as direction to where we're headed.

Some of this I could see makes sense. Like diversification, I can get into that.

This situation has definitely pushed me over my corporate bullshit limit however, so I can't see adopting some of these. In fact, I'm going to try and move away from corporations hard because of this. Even if obviously companies like Amazon (and China) are licking their chops ravenously waiting to buy up anything and everything for pennies on the dollar once the dust settles. I just want to get out of this corporate shit as much as possible. It's disgusting, and this whole event has elucidated it for me.

The Wake-up call part, I've been there done that. I've been knocked down several times and got right back up. I don't have as much to lose as a lot of people, and I've been there before more than once. So that doesn't scare me at all, but I bet it scares others like no tomorrow.

It took 6 weeks but NC finally approved my unemployment. It was a god damned nightmare because I had just moved from out of state and had basically made no money in NC during their income assessment period. I called the same hopeless number that just said "Due to Covid19 we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes. Please call again at a later time." My dudes, I called this number for 6 weeks. I never got through. I drove to the dept of labor in the freaking state capital (about an hour drive) they only had forms to fill out with a space to leave your phone number, they never called. I appealed my determination with proof of income via the website. Never a response.

I was so frustrated, like I couldnt give up, I literally had all the time in the world to take care of this, and I tried but it was total radio silence and I was starting to get kinda angry. It all felt super hopeless and I started doing the kind of math no one wants to do. The, how long do we have until the number hits zero, kind of math.

Anyway, sorry for the blog post, I'm just super relieved. The thing is, I have spent next to nothing over the past 6 weeks out of fear I would be destitute by winter and I am about to get back paid 300 state+600 federal per week for those 6 weeks. That's like my actual income. And who the fuck knows when restaurants will open up again so I could be riding this gravy train to its final destination which at this point is the end of July.

Don't feel bad, man. Glad it finally came through. I might be joining you soon, rumors of some layoffs at my work now has a lot of us wondering what the fuck. Thinking we might be the next newspaper story about a big corp laying people off via online meeting.

Good luck. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and if it does I hope your process is a lot less frustrating than mine. Honestly, after 6 weeks I would just rather work than collect this unemployment. But I'm super grateful it worked out.

I hope our future generations won't have to live in a post-CV world where there is never actually a normal. Can you imagine kids growing up only knowing things like social distancing and self isolation/quarantines. Being raised not to hug or shake people hands and always stay 2M away from them. Are we going to see a start divide where we will be like back in my day we went to baseball stadiums with 40K people there. We didn't have to wear masks everywhere. We didn't have to self isolate every winter due to Covid season. Most of us didn't work from home and went into office buildings with 100's of other people.

Who knows, if CV is here forever it could be true. Even with a vaccine it may be a world where we don't know who has been vaccinated, that not everyone will be able to get vaccinated or that the vaccine like FLU vaccines could be as low as 55% effective.

Are children going to grow up in a world that shuns human contact and physical and social closeness? Ya I know we will have a vaccine in 12-18 months and then the world will go back to normal like nothing happened. I hope so. I hope that in the future we can just be like normal again and not have to think if we are a Shaq away from every person we meet and if CV is on every door knob we touch.

Thanks. I've already read articles about these layoffs happening via web meetings. So what I'm going to do is record it on my phone when they're doing it if it happens. Then I'll post it somewhere lol.
