Why is there not many "furries" in video games these days?

I miss being a kid, in the 90's, playing Sonic and Starfox, not even crossing my mind there could be people out there who are sexually attracted to them.

This might be why many publishers have backed-off making animal mascots for games. I mean, Nintnedo still has some but of the thousands of animal characters in games from the 90's...I never remember anyone being attracted to their pixels.
 
I'm sorry but if you are attracted to a cartoon character animal you need to go out and get your hole. (As in get some sex and stop wanking at home)
 
Would I be a hypocrite for shaming this man's want for more furries in video games while I fight for more ATTRACTIVE fat women in video games? None of that butch lesbian stud crap, get that out of here.

1) If it can be thought of I'll say humans will desire it in some form. Following this idea I'll say a speck of me desires this. Not something I'm going to nurture though.

2) Long gone are the days of simply reading what was posted in the OP as a joke. I want to read it as the OP trolling but I just can't.

This, when I looked at a character like Sonic I never thought furry. Then this weird group of people came out of nowhere that get turned on by animals.

I agree that character designs of mainstream games have been extremely shy of using animal traits in recent years.
It's a shame, they can look cool and it makes them easier to diversify than if you gotta stick to human, I don't care if someone somewhere wants to fuck it.

Nintendo is great for this though, Zelda alone if filled with fish people, bird people, tree people, rock people. Sexy amonians godesses that you can lick the sweat off of and elves.

Because furries in the past used to be something cute and familial. Now they mainly instill fear and spell degeneracy.
 
Well, if Beyond Good and Evil 2 gets released, it'll have some great furries... The technology shown during the old dev diaries was impressive

I agree its fun to play as non-human characters. Fortunately there's more games than meets the eye, although not every is with 3rd person camera.
Look out for Biomutangt hopefully this year.
 
Blacksad got a game last year so that's something. As gaming advanced graphically more companies decided to go in the direction of the more realistic, rather than cartoony and realism+furry doesn't always work out well(Skyrim Khajiit look great though). I need next gen Elder Scrolls for my Khajiit fix.
