Yes, customization will differentiate the gpus of both consoles. The most important part, and what really is conflated by those with a particular agenda, is that both consoles are using the same fab node and carry the perf/watt benefits of the rdna 2 architecture.
So even though I'm 99.99% the xsx would be considered rdna 2, I find it very strange that they would namedrop Zen 2 specifically for the CPU and just call rdna for the GPU. Someone at Microsoft should be having a really uncomfortable meeting for this oversight.

I said months ago that new RDNA2 cards will use stacked design with 36/40 and 72/80CU's, meaning the Xbox Series X is, by design, not an RDNA 2 design. Now, what matters are the CU's and the underlying tech, which of course will be RDNA 2. Thing is, those saying the 36Cu PS5 was RDNA 1 need a good shake up because the tables are turning more and more on their BS argument.
Both are RDNA 2, both have their own exclusive Tech, the PS5 is likely using the Standard RNDA CU layout, the Xbox is not. That's all.

Probably a deliberate attempt to avoid putting a number on anything (maybe they feel Sony is going to mention some RDNA 3 feature). I'm honestly surprised that they left the reference to Zen 2 on the official page. Why not just "latest Zen technology". These consoles are long-term products, why brand yourself with numbers that AMD will blow past during the production cycle. I suspect this page will be edited again at some point to remove the Zen and RDNA references completely. I don't see the X1X page advertising what version of GCN it is using or playing up the jaguar cores. LOL

I think we might of touched on this before but an indy jones game setting using the same format as uncharted, that is to die for, i mean in so many ways the games do meld with each other, it almost feels like a natural evolution.
But i am not getting my hopes up for that, its just to good to be true.

The sooner everything is on 6 the better actually. Wi-Fi 6 is not just about an improvement in speed, it's about maximizing the available bandwidth to allow more devices per channel. This impacts not just the devices on your own network, but also your neighbours if they are using the same channel. This falls apart with a Wi-Fi 5 device in the network. I know it will take some years for this to happen, but I feel new devices should really come with Wi-Fi 6 from now onwards. Electronics with a longer lifespan should make the change now.
PSVR2 would be better off with something like WiGig.

The main sticking point for a project like that (which, let's face it, would sell a truckload) is fucking Disney. The rights permissions and cut of the proceeds they'd want would probably skewer any chance of it.
But a Naughty Dog Indy game, now Nate is retired? That would be HUGE.

Demon souls would be my big game to go too, i would love to see another level of Rachet and clank, not so much the rift portals any more, i want to see an actual level running around and using some gadgets, i would love a prehistoric setting one.

I can't tell you a percentage, but I think ninety percent of what I've played in my 44 years I will have played at 30fs, and I've had fun like a dwarf, so if to see more amazing worlds I have to keep playing 30, I sign now, performance mode always off ... I spent 5 years playing on pc and the only thing I miss is my Ultrawide Monitor,that the cat melted me with a piss

Uncharted was based on Indiana Jones. Sony will never make an actual Indy game because they'd have to give up a lot of the revenue to the license holder Disney. And Uncharted is already a huge brand.
Naughty Dog is done with Uncharted for now. This rumored new Sony studio could be making one though, and I think it will either be another Chloe game, or the rumored Sully game.
