It's perfectly normal to dislike social media personalities being in games. It's not normal to get angry or say vile things about someone, but there's no problem criticizing those personas and the use of them. Look at how the Kardashian's have made a killing being personalities on a reality tv show. It's perfectly normal to be annoyed that that kind of crap is rewarded and plastered all over the place.

I can can understand a lack of empathy for people who "make it" or get attention for what one may perceive as unvirtuous traits. To talk about someone with so much vitriol though isn't something that should be encouraged. We know why people bully and why people get off on saying mean things about others. It's documented in psychiatric journals, research papers, and frankly is just common sense that it usually comes down to a perceived lack of self-worth and frustrations with one's own life. It says a lot more about the person saying it than the person they are referring to, and I strongly believe that people should be aware of that.

Once in a while she'll just live stream herself DJing some music. She has some friends in the industry, but at the end of the day she's just some chick who makes a living off her hobby, and lives in a small apartment.

But because she's pretty fucking attractive for a gamer, some people assume she's an e-whore. It's such bullshit and should get called out.

Eh no e-celebs/regular celebs belong as cameos in videogames IMO. But I'm a minority as gamers like to follow people/watch their streams rather than play games these days so I get why RED did it as they want to be as mainstream and inclusive as possible. At least I'm glad some of you new guys aren't completely missing the point like others here are.
