Yeah. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching playthroughs of games now and again online. There's a couple of Twitch streamers I do enjoy, but it's far removed the crowd of most commercially viable "just chatting," for three hours, overtly loud and rehearsed, dabbing mother fuckers. I think once the person playing the game eclipses the game itself, you've lost the plot.

And people like Pearce or Schrier, don't get me started. I was frequenting the "gamer sites," and saw the change in basically real time as gaming journalism shifted from informative impartial tech reviews and analysis to another facet of industry PR and agenda pushing, and these "figureheads," of that emerging movement are so transparent in their goals that it surprises me that so many are taken hook, line and sinker.

My only problem with it I guess is the conversion to Cyberpunk.

Keanu looks breathtaking while she looks like bad breath in game.
 
I do not care if she is in the game, I just watched a few trailers and the lip-synch is bad and distracting, fucking Naughty Dog has spoiled me.

Nobody needs to be excited for this. Nobody needs to be excited for her. Hell nobody even needs to care. And if her content or approach isn't your cup of tea, then cool. But half the criticism leveled at her in the thread is your typical kneejerk reactions from people who are uninformed and unfamiliar with her content.

She didn't even review TLoU2. I don't remember why, but being friends with Troy Baker probably had something to do with it.

It's real. She in the game. And honestly, the overall minimum specs and recommended specs aren't that bad. A 4790 and a 1060 with 12GB (Wait huh?) of ram is cheap.

Though I think recommended system requrements are for around 1080p 60 fps with a mix of low + med + high and limited post processing I am guessing these days in general? I don't think there's ever been a real set performance target with the listed recommended specs all shooting for the same performance. or graphics settings.

That's good of her and absolutely the right thing to do. I thought she did the same with Last of Us 2, but then might have did one anyway?, not too sure. But if she can separate those kind of things and pursue whatever she wants to do, great for her.

Most of her content is gushing about upcoming games, showing off new additions to her figurine collection, let's playing, DJing music, and a podcast. She doesn't review games that much these days. Yes she tries to make a name for herself, and has befriended people in the industry, but call me weird, I don't see that as problematic. If you want to help grow your brand of content and make more of a name for yourself, it's a no brainer if you have an opportunity to get friendly with the right people.
 
I don't think I will ever see the appeal of having celebrities in games. This is just my personal opinion, but to me it make the game feel cheap, it becomes less of a game and more of celebrity merchandise....but thats just me.

I will always choose having original character over a celebrity in games.

Same reason on why developers create easter eggs in their games maybe?

Once upon a time, there is an animation series called Battlefield Friends based on BF3. It quite popular for the fanbase, so DICE actually make easter eggs dedicates to it by putting their voiced npc into BF4. Maybe CDPR saw a good marketing points by putting her into the game as she likes to promote Cyberpunk on her videos

Btw, some details
Her npc will only show up in the prologue of Nomad background and I think is not important at all. So if you don't want to meet the npc you can actually avoid her
 
If they wanted to put the person in this game why didn't they just make their hair all white/silver.

That purple is out of place and ugly as fuck.
