Microsft Flight Simulator 2020 Xbox Series S/X Trailer

I should have picked up Series S when it was still available.

I could have been playing this and Cyberpunk and not dealing with crashes and sub 30fps

FUCK

It's up to you... in a couple years games are going to look amazing on series x but just ok on series s. I'd spend the extra now if you can hold out but that's just me.
Nah I can pick up Series X or PS5 later down the road. Neither of them will be readily available for quite some time anyways because they are in high demand.
This way I can get into next gen gaming while I wait for SeriesX/PS5 availability.

Is this running on the Forza Engine? Isn't this still Asobo Studio and their proprietary engine?

Well that's a name i haven't seen in a while

"The game is powered by Turn 10 Studios Ftech X engine known from Forza"

Anyway, i really hope that the optimization required for porting to Xbox series S|X, perhaps even DirectStorage(?) will benefit the performances on PC.
I still have my Warthog HOTAS from DCS days, sadly, my PC got eclipsed by the new DCS versions and i can't even imagine booting up Flight simulator 2020. Waiting on hardware upgrades.

Got this on PC with a throttle a Honeycomb throttle system. It's incredible. If it has good performance on the xbox consoles, it will sell systems.

If they were smart, they would try and bundle it with a console and hotas.

Same to you my friend, same to you :).

Yeah, it's on the forza engine

Thanks, that seems super flexible. So that I am clear, the Forza Horizon (so the open world streaming friendly engine tweak of the track racer engine) or base one? I guess it is time for some searches and reading :D.

Looks amazing. I actually can't wait to play this.

I have a bad fear of flying but I love aircraft (weird I know). Who knows, this could even help with the fear of flying.

Been interested in this game and waiting for the Series X announcement.

Think this will have to be a buy for me. Will be quite the showcase.

I would just do it, it can just end up be a gamepass machine once you get a PS5 and then you have the best of both worlds.

It looks fine but I am interested in knowing the technical details as this game is very taxing.

Don't panic, get a PS5 when available, soon enough. It seems to be easier here though to secure a preorder on each wave.

He should remain calm as more stock will be available soon.

I am assuming this will run 4k at 30fps pc medium/high settings on xbsx and dynamic 60fps (predicting 2 modes). Re. the controller kB + mouse combo would be awesome, but I have played couple hours on pc using Xbox controller and with "dumb down" settings it is playable and enjoyable.

Problem

HUGE PROBLEM

I found Series S available near me. Fuck i'm tethering on the edge here.
Why not X though, because with storage card you are going to be at more money then X. I would suggest X for these types of game and also Cyberpunk for that matter. Obviously just a suggestion : )

The fact the S can even play this is amazing for an £250 console. Anyway moot point as he already caved I think?

quiet a bit of pop in there in the first few moments.
