Games Featuring FPS Boost
FPS Boost is a feature employing a variety of new methods for nearly doubling the original framerate on select titles.

Titanfall 2 and Battlefront II at 120fps!

Whatever they were before?Are they 4k or 1080p ?
In some instances, because there are higher graphics requirements to enable FPS Boost technology, we've had to reduce a game's resolution to ensure it both runs smoothly and plays great. In those select cases, FPS Boost is not automatically enabled for Xbox Series X gamers, but can easily be turned on
MS, the series X is an absolute beast and my LG CX salutes all these 120 FPS patches.
Yeah basically they are trick the virtual machine to run at double the speed. (easy principe), every game on Xbox is it's own virtual machine. How are they doing this?
Does it put extra load on the GPU or is it something else.. would be cool to see GPU load with FPS boost on and off.
Suspect its not the back compact team working on that thoughDear Microsoft, please return your efforts to resolution boosts please. I don't care about 120 fps if it's at 720-900P. 1440P-4K @ 60 is more important for older titles

Knew my lg cx was an investment
I'm assuming this is all at 1080p?
Didn't see it, sorry, if it's repeated mods can lock itAlready a topic on this btw.
I dont think my Sony 900e tv can do 120, but is it still worth choosing the option?
I remember someone saying it might still positively affect response/gamepad timing even though the graphics are still 60 fps.
It does support 120hz at 1080p,I dont think my Sony 900e tv can do 120, but is it still worth choosing the option?
