Just loaded Battlefront 2 and the FPS boost option was there and it's running at 120.

In some instances, because there are higher graphics requirements to enable FPS Boost technology, we've had to reduce a game's resolution to ensure it both runs smoothly and plays great. In those select cases, FPS Boost is not automatically enabled for Xbox Series X gamers, but can easily be turned on

I literally just rebought Titanfall 2 on pc to play and to give respawn some extra cash due to my apex addiction. I already own it on xbox....

MS, the series X is an absolute beast and my LG CX salutes all these 120 FPS patches.

Think ill just play through on xbox again.

Just played a round of Battlefront II. Breathtaking at 120fps. Looks next-gen.

I literally got a Sony X90J on Monday. I have the Xbox (not PS5) hooked up through the 120fps port (the PS5 is going through a receiver that's on the port set to Dolby Vision), and I'm glad I set it up that way now. So much 120fps stuff on the Xbox compared to the PS5.

Played Mass Effect Andromeda at 100 fps last month. Most third person games with controllers dont feel all that much better at 60+ fps but andromeda felt far more smoother.

Yeah basically they are trick the virtual machine to run at double the speed. (easy principe), every game on Xbox is it's own virtual machine.

Some EA Play games are getting FPS Boost on Xbox Series consoles... I'm liking this trend because what I don't like about XSS (which I hoping get in a couple of months) is that games run as on Xbox One S and not X but this totally changes that for me

well it's most likely at the same resolution they ran at on One X

most EA titles have a dynamic resolution so it might run lower than with fps boost off

You probably won't be able to use the 120Hz if the Xbox doesn't detect it on your display.

Just tried Titanfall 2, definitely running at a lower resolution but not a significant drop. I still kinda prefer 60fps.
