Feel Like I'm On 42

Did it happen with Uncharted 4 Remaster? That was developed in house by ND and it was a disappointment in almost every way. They even toned down the global illumination from the ps4 version. Only 1440p/60 fps too. I've lost some trust in ND after that.Yep, every time.
This game and studio has given a particular section of the internet full-on brain worms.
Some guy on Gaf made an in depth video showing numerous examples of missing
Something is off about this project. Naughty Dog, ps5 exclusive and it's not blowing anyone away in fact it looks no better than LoU2. Also? DF counted only 1440p/60.Is this game's base still the one created by Bend Studio? It's the only reason I can't think of that would explain the lack of ND graphical pedigree. This is ND we are talking about. Look at what they achieved on PS3 and PS4 and then look at this, their first PS5 game. This should be a 'blow the doors off' showcase. Instead we have these uncanny valley bug eyed character models.
Same goes for UC4 remaster. It was extremely underwhelming. They even downgraded the global illumination somewhat. A guy on Gaf made a thread showing various downgrades with it.
So excuse me for not having confidence in this $70 remake. If it looks like LoU2 I'll consider this a disappointment. It's next gen only guys.
Someone said a game "doesn't need to have ray tracing to look good" and they're right but can we at least agree that SSR looks like shit compared to RT reflections? So why can't they pull off RT reflections for this "next gen rebuilt from ground up Naughty Dog" game?
