WORLD CUP 2022 | Rumba Quatar

Strong second half (of 1st half) for Argentina there once they got their footing. Croatia is very sound but for those who are actually watching Argentina and friendly and lead up to the Copa America and even during this tournament, you would see that they create opportunities like that all the time. I don't know why people question them and even though they didn't have possession as much initially, they found those spots necessary and capitalized. Very justified two goals for them.

They should play as if they're tied from here on out. Win it convincingly.

Messi is something else entirely. Not counting Croatia out just yet, they have proven times and times again never to give up.

Croatia started out really well but they have no one good enough to score. Meanwhile Argentina has Messi.

Been saying for a long time that the final would be France vs. Argentina. Ugh.

Expected result tbh, well played Argentina. After Brazil, everyone over here acted as if we were champions already, so expected end result. Even tho, this semis are punching way above the weight. Fourth place here we come. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

How did this shitty team eliminate Brazil?

Because Brazil has been shittier for a long, long time now...
Argentina has succeeded to a certain extent in combining their immense individual talent, which South America is known for, with the tactical rigor and discipline of the european school. Brazil, for all its magicians on the field, still plays as if the games take place on a bucolic beach...

Well deserved by the Argentines and a very poor showing for the Croats. Excited for a (hopefully) France vs Argentina final as it was the best match in the 2018 world cup

I don't even know how we (Croatia) even ended up in semis, we can't even score from open play. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I dare say we (Dutch) gave the Argentinians more of a run for their money in the quarters... I really expected more from the Croats. IDK what happened, they are otherwise a strong and sympathetic team, but it wasn't a very exciting semi-final TBH

City signed Alvarez for £15m. He'd be £100m easily after this World Cup without that release clause. He's twice the player Poonez is for the scouse twats and he cost £85m.

They've played like this even during the Saudi Arabia loss. And they've been playing like this and showing their quality and here we are.

Resilience.
