Clearly you’ve never how corners are defended. Refs pull back the play on these kind of fouls. If a foul happens on the other side of the pitch in the penalty box, the ref wouldn’t award a penalty.

You can foul someone who’s taken a shot but you don’t get penalties for being tapped on the head after your shot has gone on the head. In this case, Messi being hit on the head isn’t even a foul outside of the box.

We must capitalize on this whole adventure, and work on our most glaring weaknesses, especially the lack of a scorer...although this could be hard, seeing as Morocco has never been known for great attackers.

Awesome achievement but history suggests that it is unlikely you will get here again for a long time. These runs are often miracle runs and rarely something to build off for the smaller nations.

I beg to differ. Our country is well intent on becoming a major inetrnational football player, and with this trajectory, no expenses nor efforts will be spared. I think this is the start of a new era, that you will put Morocco on the world map for years/decades to come.
Also, Morocco is on its way to becoming a great nation. We were once a dominating force, and by God, we shall regain our status of old.

We have had bi-national players since the late 90s, and yet, we have not gotten out of the pools since 1986...Morocco has been investing in soccer continuously for a decade now, so our performance is not a fluke. I am confident we will do well in 4 years time...but that is just me!
The irony is that today's facts are that we have reached the semi-finals...
