Hopefully the CMA and FTC read this article as it directly proves the point that Microsoft is buying companies with the express purpose to remove access from other platforms. At this point only fools and fanboys believe Microsoft's claims that they have no intention of turning ABK properties into exclusives. You don't spend nearly 70 billion to acquire a company just to maintain the status quo.

Microsoft has a very long history of saying one thing and then doing something else. It's the same kind of behavior that got them in trouble during the Windows/Internet Explore late 90's era.

First time always online got announced I called it out and said it was shit. Seems they listened to everyone. Anyone telling you that would be making things up. There is no evidence to support that claim. In fact, Starfield wouldn't even exist if the purchase never happened. It has been developed only with MS money since the date of purchase. MS paid for it, so it would never have been on PS5. And why isn't anyone complaining about Spiderman 2 being PS5 only. Why is it ok for Sony to money hat that game?

I mean this goes without saying. Game has been in development for at least 4-5 years? The buyout was finalized pretty much exactly 2 years ago. Of course there was a PS5 version in development.
