I was playing and now it seems the server version and client version are not aligned? Wanted to try the PC version and got the same issue.

I have the game pre loaded via Game Pass and have already bought the Bite Back upgrade. Looking forward to play this co-op. I'm curious to see how much post launch support this game will have, like with new missions, enemies, raid/boss fights, performance updates, etc. If Arkane is behind the title 100%, it may still survive a rocky launch.

There's always those games that don't get the perfect 10s that you still find enjoyable. I have it preloaded, but that doesn't seem to do much these days. I'll probably still have to download a huge patch tomorrow.

It looks better than Deathloop to me graphically and a lot better than Ghostwire. Arkane games are never really about graphical prowess anyway.
Just had a 1.30gb update on Xbox and PC, so hopefully will be good to go.

Come on people. Quit holding out some kind of hope. Pictures have looked bad, gameplay has looked bad.....it probably is bad. Patches can't fix a truly bad game(IMO). Make it playable, yes. Gotham Knights is a good example to compare it to, and for me Cyberpunk. All the pretty in the world can not change the game at its core.

Tried the PC version, it’s a pleasant surprise running at 1440p with DLSS balanced at 60 fps. Couple drops on the outside but not bad considering my configuration (RTX2060).
Game doesn’t look visually stunning but the shooting is good so far. Inspiration from Far Cry is obvious but the world is interesting.
I would recommend using the PC version over the console one if you have the opportunity.

Yeah it let me update the game with another 94GB patch and just recently had another 1.5GB patch and gets you to the launch screen but says incompatible version

wont matter, itll get a spike when the 60fps patch comes out and die again. I have said it before and Ill say it again these coop games do not last long. back 4 blood lasted a week, outriders or whatever lasted 4 days of funDoes the 60fps patch drop within that month?

It plays nothing like L4D or B4B, there are no hordes of enemies, linear levels or elite enemies. It plays more like Far Cry with missions, outposts to unlock, small encounters etc.
Outriders was also completely different from L4D btw.

Exactly. And the confusion is on Bethesda/MS for the way they've marketed this game. That said, I feel like Arkane didn't even know what game they were making.

1. Let's make a next-gen and multiplayer Arkane game. Hmm... how do we sell it?
2. Let's make it a new IP with edgy artwork and cool vampires to sell it to all the young people who like immersive sims. People LOVE Twilight right? Ok that's not enough, since those people don't really exist.
3. Ok... I got it... let's market it as a cool co-op shooter like Left 4 Dead since those games are huge! Damn... Back 4 Blood didn't do so hot.
4. Ok ya'll... singleplayer is where it's at. Let's get all the previews showing that off! Oh crap we can't get this to run at 60fps because we made this open world multiplayer. Gotham Knights didn't do well, so maybe Phil will let us delay it!

Yeah my game crashed a bit ago and it made my PC freeze up and I had to reboot and just now tried and gave me the same error that I was too early
Likely the crash earlier was them taking servers down

Do these people not realize they are proving right every single one of us who predicted that the Game Pass model would inevitably lead to the enshittification of game quality? Because here we are, again. Yet another potentially broken, lackluster, incomplete game being thrown into Game Pass where they know the fanbase will lap it up and use the subscription service as a free excuse for its problems.
For subscription services like this, quality takes a back seat to quantity. Getting as much content on the service to keep people subscribed is more important than maintaining quality standards. We see it all the time on video streaming services, especially Netflix.

Getting under 50 fps on a 4070 at 1080p, that is just really bad, and it looks so outdated, so uninspired, and not at a graphical level necessarily, but I don't know man, Dishonored series, Prey, they looked amazing artistically, and they were so full of detail and substance, this looks to be a shadow of that.

Okay, 50 minutes later I’ve uninstalled. It’s legitimately nauseating to play this. Icons jitter, it has this weird stopping feeling when you end your turn like you’re in a carousel that’s been brought to a halt. Textures are awful. I had low expectations given the lead up and today’s early reviews but it’s borderline unplayable on an XSX. To rub salt in the wound, I got that 17 gamerscore achievement and that’s going to totally mess with my OCD.Let’s give it a go
