Starfield for me, don't get me wrong I'm hyped for Spiderman I know it's gonna be great and well polished but it will just be more of the same (and that's ok)

SM2, because BG3 just ate Starfield's RPG-shaped lunch

This is lame and reeks of rancid console fanboy bait. Clearly Starfield is the most hyped and hypeworthy game. It is the first non online game from Bethesda proper since 2015. Spider-Man-2 is a sequel to a game from 2018 with a 2020 expansion.

That said, I have a 4 year old who is Spider-Man obsessed and both of my sons are Mario fans so those 2 games that come out in the same week are the ones to fight over after I am finished with Starfield on PC.

Starfield.
But this poll would only really be effective if people who can play both were the only voters.

Even if I could play Spider-Man I'd be a Starfield voter as it's a Bethesda RPG.

PS5 exclusive owner here. Voted Starfield, because it's a new IP. I'm sure Spiderman 2 will be great, but Starfield has more potential; whether it delivers remains to be seen, however.

I enjoyed Spider-Man 1 for what it was, but it must be one of the most over rated games of all time. Not an original thought in the entire game. The web swinging was about as good as it could be though, and it looked nice. Haven't managed to complete Miles. The thought of creeping around in the rafters of another warehouse is not getting the juices flowing. I'll get it when it hits $20 or shows up on the sub.

Starfield has the potential to be something very special, but we'll have to wait and see. It's a new IP and the ideas are super ambitious which means it could go either way. I think it's going to be spectacular, but equally would not be surprised if it misses in a lot of ways. Excited to find out.

Spider-Man will almost assuredly be the more focused game, but Bethesda games are more about me doing what I want in the world with the template that BGS gives me.

I'll probably play Spiderman twice, and then never touch it again. I'll almost assuredly be playing Starfield in some form or fashion for the next 10 years.

Spider-Man, easily.

I'll download Starfield, but Todd Howard is kinda like an American Peter Molyneux, he talks big and doesn't always deliver on what he says *insert crowbat video here*

I will play both but more excited for Starfield.

Spiderman 2 will be more of a same with better graphics and improve gameplay, ultimately there is nothing in sequel which looks anything special.

Spiderman 2 will be one and done game but Starfield i will play for months thanks to mods

Starfield and it's not close. Spider-Man is boring as hell. Not sure why it scored close to 90 on Metacritic when it does absolutely nothing as an open-world. Huge, boring, and empty. The Batman Arkham series royally shits on it in near every metric and these games were released almost 10 years before.
100% agree. Spiderman was excellent for 2 or 3 hours I loved it but after that it just bored. Arkham games were in a different league

Between the two Spiderman 2. But neither of the two excites me as much as plenty of other titles from this year.

I'm very much looking forward to playing both,

I'd say more excited to play Starfield as it's a new RPG IP from Bethesda. I know I'm going to get lost in it for hours.

I think starfield. Not sure how different Spiderman will be even with the new powers. I think the generic henchmen with kraven in the trailer turned me off.

I'm excited for starfield but when it gets closer I'll be properly amped up, hopefully

I'm not particularly hyped for either, but having to choose I'm going Starfield.

I liked both Spider-Man games a lot, but I don't see this sequel being a massive upgrade. It's going to look better and have more variety, but it's still the same game in the same city.

Starfield is going to be, potentially, a revolutionary game, and I am getting it for free because of Game Pass. That said, I'm trying to keep my expectations low since Bethesda has been mostly disappointing since Skyrim

My hype for Spider-Man 2 is zero. I enjoyed Spider-Man and Miles Morales, but I have had my fill, at least for now.

My hype for Starfield is about a 2 or 3. I wouldn't even describe it as "hype;" more like "curiosity," at this point. It's more of an unknown quantity, compared to Spider-Man 2, and I'm curious how it will turn out.

I'm more hyped for armored core 6, which releases for both PS, Xbox and PC

Couldn't care less about Spiderman or starfield, really, Spiderman is capeshit and starfield is probably 25-50% lies

Spiderman. Starfield I'm only going to try cause it's on Gamepass, haven't seen much of it but what I have seen hasn't impressed me

None really. Will eventually play SM2 when i find it in a promo. Might end up playing Starfield on PC some years later. As good as Insomniac SM games are, im not a big enough fan of superhero games to buy them day 1.

What about Spiderman 2 did impress you? I think the times where games really could impress are over. At least for me.

Spiderman 2 despite not hitting PC yet, I already know exactly how it's going to be. It's going to be another fun open world action game with some hit or miss side activities. There's going to be a symbiote costume which will probably give abilities like in Prototype.

Starfield I expect to be a No Mans Sky and Outer Worlds style RPG. It's going to have the interplanetary travel and hopefully solid shooting action.

Spiderman will be fun for me but it'd also be the type of game I'd go through the motions, beat some familiar enemies, and see how the story ends before moving onto another game.

Starfield I imagine will feel like an adventure. I'm not playing for the story, but to immerse myself in the world. To take it all in, and have a good time discovering shit. It's definitely more my cup of tea, so Starfield would be my easy choice.

Starfield

I bought the controller even though it has that stupid rainbow stripe. My hype is monumental.

Starfield for sure, although I probably won't play either at launch.

Spiderman... loved the 2018 game but still haven't played Miles Morales...

Im 50/50 on spiderman, after 2 games ive had my field mostly... Its just a run of the mill open world with a spiderman skin. It is amazingly well made but that's it (at least MM and 2018).

As for Starfield, I don't really care much for it, I guess we will see.

WIll wait to see opinions before getting either.

Spiderman has been done too recently. Bethesda hasn't had a good rpg in like a decade. Of course people are gonna be more hype about Starfield.

Starfield for sure. Spiderman looks like more of the same which is fine if you like that gameplay but having finished Spiderman Remastered & Miles Morales earlier this year I've had my fill of that type of gameplay for a long while.
