Even the bootleg version seems more stable.

I'm guessing it was a rush job. Sounds a lot like how their TLOU port was at first, I know folks weren't happy, but I think they corrected all the big issues rather quickly.

I swear, sometimes a random intern can come up with a better strategy than some of industry execs.
Its just strange. They have come around to monetize on PC, a lot of games end up working out eventually. But the whole rush out fix later thing is baffling. The game is almost a couple years old, it wasn't a concurrent launch with console, so why not make it worthy as a rebuy or first time purchase while the price is the highest at launch.

I'd wait for a more thorough analysis than steam reviews, but yikes. Who's porting the last of us 2? Seems like things are getting worse instead of better.

There was a leaked build that the community patched up to work on PC, right? It'd be hilarious if that one is actually on par in terms of quality.

PCMR should just hold off and wait for a sale, game is trash compared to the first game anyway, don't worth the full price at all

Won't play it but they should have just delayed it, anyone waiting at this point would have kept waiting no need rush it out door by a promised date like it's a launch title.

Having a small studio like Nixxes release 4 PC ports and an entire remaster on top of that in the span of about a year is probably not the best idea.

Probably why it got zero mentioning from Sony.

Weird, why do they not just delay it

Probably looking to get quarterly revenue before it was too late.

Similar to how Until Dawn probably would have been okay if they delayed it a month, but they didn't want to miss out on spooky month sales.

The weird thing here is that they had so long presumably to do this port. Wonder if they're stretched too thin with this, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, and TLOUP2.

I'm tired of everyone trying to do everything and failing. Should we just burn everything and start over with the basics? Just write a better constitution that isn't riddled with loopholes that are misinterpreted for hundreds of yea...

Oh sorry got carried away. Fffffuck!

Big strike against Hermen here. I feel as though he's struggling to get things out in a timely manner meanwhile he's rushing out product before its ready. Short minded thinking that doesn't take into consideration brand and reputation.

I generally defend him, but it's getting difficult to do so.

Had forgotten they recently released Horizon Remastered. Yeah, someone else should have been put in charge of this project. GOWR, GOT, HZD Remastered, and Spider-Man 2 all within 9 months is a lot of work.

I keep having to argue with people that this shit costs time and resources. Despite the relatively slow pace they're working at, not even Nixxes can keep up.

Jetpack did Ragnarok. Sony should just buy them too. I didn't play Ragnarok but GoW2018 was an excellent port and even runs well on Steam Deck.

Someone do a comparison with the leaked fan- compiled build and see which runs better.

Wait a second how in God's name did people who got the leaked unfinished version sometime last year do a better job than a professional Dev team.

Almost seems like they were considering delaying this until the last second. Then they pulled the PSN requirement and opened preorders 5 mins before the game released. Something weird happened for sure.
