Just a minor update on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.
The more I play it, the more I start to really enjoy its system and grow an appreciation for the game. For a while I heard about how almost inexcusably "awful" the game was which gave the impression that it was completely technically broken or something. Far from it. It has a really strict learning curve and punches you "right in the gut" from the get-go until you learn how to play orderly/master it. Seriously. My first playthrough felt like it was set to "Hard" mode by mistake.
Now I'm on Nightmare mode (second highest difficulty) at chapter 4 and its been pretty smooth once it "clicks". This game will likely become one of those that gain a cult following down the line.

Perhaps I will look up some optimized setting for it, but I think I will stick with older games with Steam Deck.
