More adults are playing Mario Kart than TLOU games.Correct. It's still a kids game though that can be enjoyed by families.

Yeah with their families. Or in their mom's basement.More adults are playing Mario Kart than TLOU games.
Nintendo 1st party games = Adults are the primary audience based on the data provided by Nintendo.Yeah with their families. Or in their mom's basement.
Yes, adults buying their games for their kids. Sorry I struck a nerve about stating the obvious.Nintendo 1st party games = Adults are the primary audience based on the data provided by Nintendo.
Sony 1st party games = Mostly kids and teenagers that yet to mature or reach adulthood.
Do we need to input ages in the Nintendo Switch Profile? Maybe their data comes from that.Yes, adults buying their games for their kids. Sorry I struck a nerve about stating the obvious.
How would that be more accurate? My 6 year old plays on my profile. I'm not making her an account.Do we need to input ages in the Nintendo Switch Profile? Maybe their data comes from that.
Things that should have easily been included in a game that took 11 years to make and is being charged at the highest paid launch game ever at $80-90
Correct. It's still a kids game though that can be enjoyed by families.

It's not beating GTA VI and Oblivion Remake unless they rename it to Moo Moo.you can play as cow 10/10 goty confirmed
People are still hyperboling the physical price since nintendo left it out. Turned out to be $80 just like the digital version
Still too damn high imo, definitely going for the bundle to cut out a good $30
This has NOTHING on Diddy Kong racing. If they could have just copied that.
"kids games" as you call them, can be some of the best and most fun.Correct. It's still a kids game though that can be enjoyed by families.
What do you base that on? They barely told us anything we didn't already know.
Yeah, which is super cool, I just wish they designed the menus better. Like, wtf is this? There's 100's of outfits alone…
Guess they got the menu designer for Echoes of Wisdom to work on this game. Character selection looks obnoxious.Yeah, which is super cool, I just wish they designed the menus better. Like, wtf is this?
Yeah, it's even more annoying here though considering they had this figured out in Mario Kart 8 where you can pick colors for Yoshi after you've actually picked Yoshi..Guess they got the menu designer for Echoes of Wisdom to work on this game. Character selection looks obnoxious.
MK8 was much much cleaner and showed every character on one page. With this you'll be flipping through pages for whatever character or costume you want to use. I'd prefer select a character then select a costume. Selecting you kart looks to share the same format.Yeah, it's even more annoying here though considering they had this figured out in Mario Kart 8 where you can pick colors for Yoshi after you've actually picked Yoshi..
So you know it's not just an oversight but rather a very intentional design decision.
It's a bad design choice. I dunno who is in charge of UI, but it'll be much easier to have 3 columns, of selecting a character, outfit, and car.MK8 was much much cleaner and showed every character on one page. With this you'll be flipping through pages for whatever character or costume you want to use. I'd prefer select a character then select a costume. Selecting you kart looks to share the same format.
It's a very interesting design decision.
As a huge Mario kart fan. World delivers the largest advancements in Mario kart history.
Full open world to explore and collect items / secrets.
24 player races, all new items.
New skill moves to avoid weapons. Jumps tricks. WALLRIDING!
Fully online with 4 teams of 6 players. Competitive Mario kart, anyone??
Fall guys esque battle royal elimination online.
Racing to next races. Battle mode.
If you have a sniff of interest and don't think this looks amazing for Mario kart, we truly are reaching a point where people are dead inside.
Each to their own but im hyped as fooook.
Edit. I hope we can have a large Mario kart community here and do some online races together.
Yeah, which is super cool, I just wish they designed the menus better. Like, wtf is this?

13 (and maybe even more when everything's unlocked) freaking pages of characters/costumes to scroll through..
There is a sort button there. But yeah, its like a very simple menu design basically saying just scroll.Yeah, if there isn't at least an option to display just the characters and then select costume separately, someone on their UX team is incredibly stupid. This CAN'T be the only way to select character/costume, I just can't believe that.
you have to beat all the cups in grand prixWhere is rainbow road?
this what i am doing once dk is out i am on the hunt for the bundle. For me starting to reconsider my preorder, not the biggest Mario kart fan, it's ok to play a game now and again, to me this isn't the game I'd buy a system and play none stop for weeks or months, donkey Kong or a better flushed out single player game should have launched with the switch 2, plus people already complaining about the price of this game wait for six months and the paid dlc starts
I think the guy you're replying to is just saying what he hopes for in a Mario Kart evolution—he's not alone.Dude, the main selling point of Mario Kart is racing with people, who the hell playing Mario Kart for story.
People are pretty hyped for this game, Mario Kart World has the highest views for Switch 2 game and about to sell over 50m units easily.
I didn't catch that. I thought it would be more like Smash Bros with a button on each character to cycle through costumes?Yeah, which is super cool, I just wish they designed the menus better. Like, wtf is this?

Yeah, I think everyone except for the Mario Kart World developers thought that.I didn't catch that. I thought it would be more like Smash Bros with a button on each character to cycle through costumes?
Let's hope it's not final lol !Yeah, I think everyone except for the Mario Kart World developers thought that.
It's been this way since N64. Nintendo is a platform for families and kids. Nothing wrong with that.We are back to the "Nintendo is a kiddie platform for kids not serious adult gamers and if an adult buys it it's for their kids" discourse again?
May be they think it's a great idea to show customers why the content of the game justify the high costYeah, I think everyone except for the Mario Kart World developers thought that.
I thought there were just that many unique characters...if a cow in in it and you have little less than 30 characters per race, you need an huge roster.Yeah, which is super cool, I just wish they designed the menus better. Like, wtf is this?

If you like content aimed at kids, more power to ya!The content I play defines me. I play TLOU and God of War , that is why I'm so mature and grown up.
We do? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe runs 30fps in split-screen on Switch, and supposedly Mario Kart World runs 30fps in split screen on Switch 2.How long till this comes to Switch 1 due to sluggish adoption of the new system? We all know it could easily run it.
Mario Kart actually has gameplay.More adults are playing Mario Kart than TLOU games.
