Same.Yep, and I pretty much play mostly on PC.
Care to share which ones? (Not backwards compatible games)At this point it's simply better to get a mid-range PC , it will last much longer and the games are much cheaper.
My 4060 laptop runs certain games much better than XBX/PS5.
PC hardware prices have skyrocketed. You are not building a PC for $750 that is going to run games as well as the PS5 Pro.At this point it's simply better to get a mid-range PC , it will last much longer and the games are much cheaper.

What a dastardly way to funnel people into their stagnant service. As they twirl their microstache.>games cost more to make![]()
>please subscribe to Gamepass where you never have to pay this $80
Lol what a scam
Wait until you have to pay $300 for a PC case.Sony is next. Going to PC and never back
GPUs are so expensive right now that consoles are still cheaper (maybe not in the long run, who knows)
It is not that hard outside of Sony's predominantly asinine PC releases. Don't fall for the Nvidia "quality" trap and the PC build is affordable. The only question is do you enjoy tweaking settings to have the best experience. If not then a half assed console release might as well be the fallback.PC hardware prices have skyrocketed. Look forward to next MS financial quarterly report showing an Xbox revenue steep decrease. Hardware worse than -10%, content and services also hit hard.
Do it $$$I still got Xbox series x galaxy edition in original packaging (never opened)….might sell it now
Thanks Phil.
Now with $80 games then we all know there is a possibility of a price increase this year for Gamepass too.Look forward to next MS financial quarterly report showing an Xbox revenue steep decrease. Hardware worse than -10%, content and services also hit hard.
The crazy thing... ...Phil is about to look like a genius.
The tariffs effects supply chain which comes from all over the world. They are trying to cover costs they are going to have to oaston and recoup. How do you still not get this? What part of GLOBAL slipped past that programmed brain of yours?
Its literally not possible even if we are talking multiplats. You are simply not getting PS5 Pro level performance out of a $750 PC starting from scratch. It is not that hard outside of Sony's predominantly asinine PC releases. It has nothing to do with Nintendo.I said multiple times that what Nintendo was doing with their Switch 2 pricing would overnight teach Xbox and PlayStation that they are undervaluing their products and allowing gamers to rip them off. Xbox heeded the lesson. It is only a matter of time before PlayStation follows suit.
Nintendo has led the charge to make gaming more expensive for everyone. This was an active and deliberate strategy on Nintendo's part to move the industry into a higher cost bracket overnight. Soon PlayStation will follow, along with the price of PC games and accessories.
I am not justifying anything, but the components they get to build these are sourced from everywhere and they have to offset costs of materials by making end consumers pay for it. This has been warned about since Trump first mentioned tariffs as a part of his platform last year.So are they using the tariff excuse or is the public like you?
Don't let these companies use that excuse to charge up ridiculous amounts. Ths is greed
Not those of us who have a Series X collecting dust that we have been meaning to sell for a while now. That's very sad for all of us
Yes. It was a recent change. People complained. So, they got rid of $70 games.Remember $70 games?
Afraid I already pulled that trigger when I realized I could actually make a profit and cover 95% the cost of my Switch 2....but between Switch 2 and PS5 I'm sure I won't be missing out on too much. Not those of us who have a Series X collecting dust that we have been meaning to sell for a while now.
Bro. This is an opportunistic play. Stop falling for that talking point here. The tariffs effects supply chain which comes from all over the world. They are trying to cover costs they are going to have to oaston and recoup. How do you still not get this?
Xbox is set to go third-party and get out of consoles just as console prices are going to get too high for the masses. Add to that, they offer Game Pass on other devices as an alternative to pay an outrageous price for a console. Microsoft being "forced" out of the console space is playing right into Microsoft's plans. How?
Don't say that Don. Not you.Pushes me closer and closer to going PC only...
The next quarterly report will be comparing a period where they launched Oblivion as well as porting FH5 and Indy to PS5 to a period where they only launched Hellblade 2. I'd expect significant YoY increases. This hardware price increase will only be for 3 1/2 weeks in the next quarterly report.Look forward to next MS financial quarterly report showing an Xbox revenue steep decrease. Hardware worse than -10%, content and services also hit hard.
Why not? 5060Ti 16GB is $420-500, add some 8C CPU (can be as low as $150 I guess?) and MB/RAM - and you get pretty much exactly what PS5Pro is.PC hardware prices have skyrocketed. You are not building a PC for $750 that is going to run games as well as the PS5 Pro.
God damn, this is the first generation where being an early adopter is paying off in dividends.
Ridiculous that consoles are seeing price increases in their fifth year of operation, not decreases.
Don't say that Don. Not you.
You andByWatterson bring a bit of class to the reluctant Xbox owner community.
All Sony first party games are 79.99 here in EU and they raised the prices on DE models last month.Sony has 80$ games now? I didn't see it

You will have issues running games on console settings though as these are generally lower than people are willing to admit.
Does this have to do with Tariffs? I'm already seeing people on ResetEra blame that and Trump.
