Just type on google "Dualsense Battery" and a bunch of stores will show you the product saying its a baterry for the dualsense for the PS5. You dont really need any info more than typing that to be redirected to the right product.

I actually bought some DualSense controllers yesterday for $15 at a bin store that had boxes of them and Xbox Series controllers most of them probably had stick drift or other small problems or just got sent back to Amazon for whatever reason. it takes about 2 minutes to open a DualSense ( I found that out yesterday when I fixed the stick drift from one of the controllers I bought)

You can open it & see what battery is needed or you can look at the model number of your controller and search for a battery this stuff is not hard

I have no idea. Sony dosent make them for sale, so mostly only shops that sell repair products sell them. As i mentioned, i bought mine from Ali Express, its a cheap 9$ chinese battery that keeps my dualsense charged for 10 to 12h, you can find them on Amazon as well. I installed this battery some time ago, more than a year, and the baterry is still holding around 10h of change.

Yet AA batteries hold 20-30 hr of charge or 40 on Xbox pads and they cost NOTHING and don't require a ship from China to bring to me

All I'm stating is I hate it. Apple; the phone I'm on now, does the same shit.

I used to feel this way until I started using rechargeable batteries. I've completely changed my mind on it now and have zero interest in controllers with built in batteries.

I really like the approach in my 8bitdo Pro 2 controller. It has a battery pack that came with it but if it ever dies then I can just replace it with regular (rechargeable) AA batteries.

Bingo. Just rather throw in a couple batteries and be good for a few months. Not sure how this is remotely controversial AT ALL. Cheaper. More convenient. But white knights gotta fight. Sony appreciates it
 
Bruh... dude wants to turn the dualsense into a cheap kids toy with AA batteries.

I even bought a xbox rechargeable battery pack with the usb-c cable for my xbox controller. Who the fuck wants AA batteries in controllers in 2025? 🤡
 
Why tf is everyone hating on AAs? Cheap controller chargers on Amazon can ruin your battery easily, had this happen with some DS4 controllers. Replacement batteries for the dual sense on Amazon come straight from Shanghai, they're not official oem. They will swell up at some point and turn your dualsense into a hand grenade.
AA batteries are incredibly convenient. Especially if you have people over and you all want to play some multiplayer.

Bingo. It's so much easier. Cheaper. Faster. Convenient. No idea why ANY human wouldn't want it.

If we were powering pc's or tablets or phones. Yeah. AA's ain't gonna do anything. We KNOW this. But for fucks sake it's a shitty controller man. Like. Wtf

An Xbox controller dosent have all the features a dualsense controller has that drain much more power. The PS3 controller battery also lasted 35h when new. You dont need to order a battery from china, i did cuz it was cheap and didnt even paid any shipping fees, if you are american, im sure alot of repair shops sell them, just check amazon.

My solution was what i did. Buy a replacement battery. You seem to not be aware you could do that so i was trying to educate you to that possibility, if you dont like it, its your problem.
 
yea i think the dualsense should allow us to easily replace the batteries at least.

Would be even better if its consumer friendly repairable (easy access to replace buttons and triggers) *sony laughs

Anything with a replaceable battery is superior.

I wish there was a more "cooler" standard replacable battery available, that wouldn't make people think of the 80s.
