If Group A has to meet higher standards than Group B to train for / perform Job X, it is perfectly reasonable and logical that you would be more confident in the ability of someone from Group A.

It does not mean that nobody from Group B can meet the standards Group A had to meet; it means that you know the person from Group A had to meet those standards, whereas you do not know that about someone from Group B.

The suspicion caused does not result from the innate characteristics of Group B, but from the lowering of standards to prioritise sufficient representation of each group ahead of producing the highest collective ability levels possible.

I went through the sources of some of these studies some years back because someone was using them against me in an argument, and the way they qualified things as right and left was extremely odd. They would only qualify extreme left wing nuts as ideological, yet everyone with just a slight connection with the right was viewed as far right.

For example, a lot of these studies wouldn't include things like BLM or school protests as left wing violence.

Which pretty obviously indicated support for both attacks from the outset rather than just a tasteless joke. This interpretation was only increasingly confirmed by her conduct going forward.

If she had encountered pushback and promptly and sincerely clarified that she did not mean to imply support for assassinating people and that it was just a tasteless joke, it probably would have helped to some extent yes. But it wasn't meant as just a tasteless joke, and she apparently had no intention of 'betraying her cause' by pretending that it was. Whether it would have sufficed I don't know, but not doing so probably turned this into an easy call for the company.

Some people werent going to buy this game anyway just because of the main voice actress. I took a peek, and literally everyone who said they wont buy the game now is already on my blocked list, lol. I really want to cleanse my pallete with a proper next gen graphical showcase after seeing so many people glaze Hollow Knight Silk Song. The only reason I mentioned Nintendo is because they are a japanese company, first and foremost. I haven't seen any hateful message in their games. Nintendo are pure evil when it comes to company greed, and the hunt for emulation, where they ruin people's life, but the reason I said Nintendo probably is the only company not doing this is not to say Nintendo are the good guy, because they do so much damage to the gaming industry thanks to all their insane patents lately.

You can also keep yr eyes open for the credits and deciding to buy off everything, because you support her actions. Its upto you, mate! What? Youre free to do what you please, I could care less. I just find it crazy you're openly suggesting to track a credits page of X company to ensure this person doesn't work there.

Curious, do you research every individual that took part in creating products that you buy? If you dont, that isnt a very wise consumer decision (imho)
