Geez, if I hadn't beaten it on the Playstation and it didn't take me 100hrs to beat I'd consider this. (Admittedly I didn't play the epilogue.) Here's hoping DQ8 gets the same treatment. (Since I barely started that on the PS2)

Gonna say it now: Square-Enix's place is in high-quality AA, not AAA. Something like this looks infinitely more charming than FF XVI, will sell a lot more, and very likely costed a crap ton less to make.

I think the test if they continue laborious AAA budgets for future FF games depends on Part 3's market performance, and that's a reason I'm 100% certain it's not going to be a timed exclusive with the way SE's been moving these days.

DQVII is one of those classics I've yet to play, but this looks like the best version to go with for a first time.

This is amazing. Looks way better than I hoped and it comes out on my birthday. Will be picking this up for myself day 1.
Now the only question is if it will be on PS5 as well or will I need to grab this for Switch 2.

Don't you guys have phones? (So you can't buy the game anywhere, you have to download it, and it's either not compatible with your phone, it runs like shit, and even if you run it you have to play exclusively in portrait mode)

Yeah I would doubt it at this point. But we'd know by just the SE version of the trailer on their site/ YT channel, and if Xbox and PS also uploaded a trailer for it. Nintendo did publish DQ XI S and VIII 3DS though, so there is a chance. It took XI S a long time to come to Xbox. As long as the Switch 2 can run it at 60 fps, I don't care.

Yeah, this is super annoying. How many times have folks already played DQVII or P4 or P3 and so on (P5 just needs to die, lol).

Over 50 hours just for the main story. And then there's the rustic, outdated look. You'll need the utmost patience to finish it.
