I mean i loved Quantum Break so this might be right up my alley.
Why? Game was mid outside of atmosphere.Damn they are trying to get me to replay Control.
QB is fantastic and highly underrated.
Still no update?
Out of curiosity, what hardware do switch cloud games run on? Is it just a remote switch? My first Switch cloud game, and still runs absolutely fantastic after 5 years (even has a ray tracing mode), and I beated the game + its DLCs, so I don't have any incentive to go back, but fantastic game and fantastic experience.
No real idea, but it seems like it's a remote PC located in TaiwanOut of curiosity, what hardware do switch cloud games run on? Is it just a remote switch?
Only on PC I think.![]()
The last update was supposed to add HDR support. Did that ever happen?

I honestly don't see the point you're trying to make while quoting meRegarding cloud/remote gaming :
- Xcloud = A-OK (good input latency, only the res was bad-ish).
- PS remote play/Cloud streaming: brilliant, great image quality, good input latency
- Switch cloud version games : feels like going back 15 years, shit's literally unplayable with bad iq, huge image and input delay, freezes etc etc.
The comparisons are using the same home network btw.

You can say whatever comes to your mind, I just didn't see the connection between what I said and your post comparing cloud gaming experiences you hadYou mentioned your "1st switch cloud game", i commented on that.
Am I not allowed ?
They added a 40 FPS mode to Alan Wake 2, but only on the pro, I hope they add a 40 FPS mode here across the board and also bring the Alan Wake 40fps patch to base consoles too .
Love Control, glad to see they're still supporting it after 5 years.
I wonder how they pay for this stuff? Must be busy work for the groups that finish games while their other stuff is in early production.
Did they ever fix the PSSR issues for the PS5 Pro?

Don't know what's up with that but, yeah, not a good impression.
To each his own. I'm a huge Remedy fan and I love their story telling and games in general. Why? Game was mid outside of atmosphere.
Fuck that lost boss thoQB is fantastic and highly underrated.
If you plan to play Control, pick up the Ultimate Edition, it includes the DLC as well and DLC was pretty good in this. Basically a small bridge to Alan Wake 2.
This is fair! I feel the same with Obsidian. To each his own. I'm a huge Remedy fan and I love their story telling and games in general.
Do you mean the raytracing noise? Nope.Did they ever fix the PSSR issues for the PS5 Pro?

Real or fake ?
I was afraid AW2 wouldn't connect with me. It seemed to be hit or miss for people. I ended up loving it though and got the plat.Amazing game, really loved it and now I'm currently playing AW2, Remedy narratives are in a league of their own
They improved it (timestamped):
Did you listen to Oliver? These changes are a complete nothing burger. They removed RT reflections and the game still renders at 864p internally ....YAY!!!!! So happy to see this.
It's not just RT noise that'sa problem on the Pro. Pssr is almost as bad with aliasing and artifacting as FSR2 was in this game. Esp indoors any location and NYC. Ironically its the outdoor, foliage heavy areas that are a lot better with PSSR in this game.Do you mean the raytracing noise? Nope.
Alan wake 2 was great outside of a few things that added bloat and those annoying jump scaresRemedy's best game since Max Payne 2. Vastly better than Alan Wake 2 and better than Quantum Break and Alan Wake 1 (not to mention the garbage that was CrossfireX and FBC: Firebreak lol - their quality has really dropped off the last few years).
