Runs pretty damn well on RDNA3 cards. RDNA2 takes a substantial hit comparatively though so not sure it's worth using on that over 3.1, would have to see the quality difference in person to judge. Hopefully it gets supported officially at some point so you don't have to bother with the DLL swapping.
Love it - community (modders, tweakers) is the best, that leak proved that FSR4 is possible on RDNA2/3.
Now: your move AMD.
Will FSR4 be released for the Switch 2?
It really helps FF7 Rebirth on Steam Deck clean up its IQ
DLSS is a little better so no point. Will FSR4 be released for the Switch 2?
From my personal experience is not that impressive in handheld mode on Switch 2. At least not in Hitman 3.DLSS is a little better so no point.
I have no idea if the DLSS on SW2 can have the same quality as on PC. Also depends on the base resolution. From my personal experience is not that impressive in handheld mode on Switch 2. At least not in Hitman 3.
It was AMD that released the Int8 dll.
Though, it was by accident.
XeSS still has better performance so I do not see any benefit to using FSR4 over it on any hardware.

This happened because AMD is working on it. Too slowly, apparently lol.Love it - community (modders, tweakers) is the best, that leak proved that FSR4 is possible on RDNA2/3.

Is it so good that it justifies ~15% drop in performance? I just can't see it making that much of a difference with taxing games like some recent UE5 releases.Better image quality with FSR4. Even the int8 version.

Does Hitman on the Switch 2 even use DLSS?From my personal experience is not that impressive in handheld mode on Switch 2. At least not in Hitman 3.
wut. It's definitely DLSS what I see.It would be pretty hard for you to be impressed by DLSS if Google AI is correct in sourcing that Hitman 3 handheld mode does not use DLSS at all.

Paradoxically FSR artifacts are less visible in a portable screen and I haven't noticed great difference between RDR1 and Hitman outside a better AA for the latter and more aliasing in the Rockstar ip.Well DLSS > FSR, so if this is worse than FSR, then it goes to reason it's not using DLSS properly or at all.
Works great on Steam Deck as well, at lower resolutions. Unlike FSR 3, which looks pretty terrible in most games at such low res.
AMD really should push this out publicly.
Nothing on the Switch 2 is using DLSS from what I've heard, DK is using FSR for some reason.Does Hitman on the Switch 2 even use DLSS?
I believe Cyberpunk uses DLSS.Nothing on the Switch 2 is using DLSS from what I've heard, DK is using FSR for some reason.
AMD's human resources for AI are spread out across different AI instruction sets i.e. XDNA AI, GCN 5.x with Tensor cores (CDNA), RDNA2 RPM shaders, RDNA3/4 WMMA (feature differences) and CPU AVX-512-VNNI.This happened because AMD is working on it. Too slowly, apparently lol.

Not if you just swap dll's.Decky framegen plugin, Is this the same plugin that gives insanely bad latency for sake of FPS Number go up by any chance?
Both consoles should implement this, then. The performance mode on FSR4 still looks way better than FSR3.1 quality. And they have similar performance.
So even on RDNA2, its best to use FSR4.

AMD/Sony, it's quite sure same model backporting that will be used for PS5ProThis happened because AMD is working on it. Too slowly, apparently lol.
The fun part is that XS have such support since launch in 2020 and yet MS couldn't be bothered to make anything with it.The PS5 doesn't have support for dp4a, and it might be necessary.
Doubt FSR4 it's feasible on XSX hardware with such scarse TOPs count but I could be wrongThe fun part is that XS have such support since launch in 2020 and yet MS couldn't be bothered to make anything with it.

And? I mean this gpu use also infinite cache and xsx not, seems nothing but I don't know if FSR4 can be more expensive in ms usage for the XSX gpu.HU tested with a 6750XT, that has 13.5 TFLOPs. And it ran well.

Infinite cache is a lot better to have than the series X bandwith... we have to see what kind of quality could offer with XSX and at what ms cost. I have my doubt couldn't be that cheaper or optimal to use looking how work VRS but again is just my thought. They are both RDNA2 GPUs. The Series X doesn't have L3 cache, but it has 560GB/s bandwidth. The 6750XT only has 430GB/s

It's not about if it can't run or less. It's about the real quality and gpu milliseconds costs imo.True, but ML instructions run on the L1 and L2 caches.

I suspect it could cost more gpu mss on xsx and couldn't be even worth it considering the very low resolution where should be used. FSR4 is still AI based guess more TOPs helps to have faster calculations and XSS us scarse on it.What are you even talking about?

Less operations possible with limited AI calculations? It take more time with less TOPs.Why would it cost more?
