I want Xbox to fail because they have squandered every internally developed execution (software and hardware) since the 360. Their only meaningful contribution is the 360 controller. We need to move on.

They are a blight of boardroom creativity and out of touch boomer gamers. Begone.

Being transparent in your messaging and consistent in your actions make creating misinformation a whole lot harder. Now we're in a whirlwind of chaos and mistrust where anything is plausible that allows everyone, people who are sincere and aren't, to make up the narrative for MS. At least blame the right people for this mess.

I want Xbox dead not because of the console or its "ecosystem," but because of its shills, like the one and only Jizz Corden. The only stupid people are those who deflect any criticism as "Xbox Tax" or keep running damage control and spin for Phil and the brand. This dumb fuck told me, face to face in the virtual world, that he'll continue to advocate for Xbox...He makes money by misleading the average fan while selling himself as someone who "works for the people". I remember when you couldn't criticize Game Pass without getting shouted down. And the mods had to make a dedicated thread for it because there was so much astroturfing posting about it.

I never had a problem with Xbox until it became obvious that MS were sticking their fingers (ie. ideas) into it. The Xbone was the first example of that. Since then, it's become apparent that the people running it now are a far cry from the people who made the first two generations of Xbox great. I have no ill will for people who game on Xbox and hope they do get another console/way to play their libraries. But I don't think MS itself brings or will bring anything positive to gaming.

When he says people want Xbox to fail, is he talking the console? Cause that is what an Xbox is- a console. I don't see anyone wanting the console to fail. In fact, I think that is what people are most sad about, the fact that the memories they have with Xbox consoles is soon all they will be- memories.

The problem was never the Xbox and its competition with the PlayStation, contrary to what Phil and the Xbox fanboys think... who, I don't know, "PlayStation fans" want to destroy the Xbox.

What I want is the destruction of people like Phil Spencer and Jez... those people who should be eliminated from the gaming world.
The problem was always people like Jez and the parasocial relationships, FUD, etc. that Phil Spencer encourages.

I felt really good reading video game news now that Phil Spencer is missing... I don't care what that greasy Phil thinks or doesn't think, much less what Jez thinks or doesn't think.

In the gaming world, only those who design consoles, GPUs, CPUs, etc., and those who MAKE games should have a voice; not some dumb executive who thought Halo's Craig the Monkey had better graphics than Horizon Forbidden West.

I don't want an executive with sexual fantasies about buying Nintendo, like Phil saying that buying Nintendo would be the "stellar moment of my career."
I want an executive who dreams of making BETTER games than Nintendo does.

Xbox, the console brand, is dead. Now we have an "Xbox" handheld that can play… zero Xbox console games.
