Dialogue is cringe, but the whole concept is about over the top capitalism anyway.

The actual grammer is terrible. Why didn't they proofread this? Maybe we do need A.I.

If Crunchyroll subs are any indication, then this is still better, trust me.

Modern writing is so damn cringe. Put that shit right next to something properly written like KCD2 and it's even sadder.

It really sucks that this writing has become the norm esp from an old school rpg dev like Obsidian. Avowed had this awful cringe writing and i couldn't stomache it.

More of a taste thing than quality.

Compare The Godfather writing with Dumb and Dumber. Thats what this is.

DA Veilguard writing might be at odds with franchise, but it is good quality as well. Characters speak with conviction.

They have made it light hearted though.

Last games that were good by Obsidian primarily due to the talent and writers at the time was and still is Fallout New Vegas and KOTOR II: The Sith Lords.

If you like the Satire and Zoomer Tik Tok dialogue of Outer Worlds then you'll probably be happy with this game too. But it is nowhere reaching the level of old Obsidian.

To me it looks as if they made improvements to combat - presumably by transferring what they learned with Avowed over to this franchise.

I found the first OW completely forgettable. This one looks similar, but with better combat.

Ranged combat looks dogshit tbh.

Yeah... That's why I didn't care about the franchises and studios that Microsoft bought.

Bethesda had already destroyed Fallout before Microsoft bought it.

Activision had already destroyed Diablo before Microsoft bought it.

Obsidiam was already "finished" after Fallout New Vegas.

It looked worse than the first game to me. It feels like Avowed with guns(it also had guns?). Same creatures from Avowed too? The art design looks awful. I'm not even considering trying it. I couldn't stand the video for two minutes.
