I heard it cost $400mBut is profitable?
Free to play game vs U$ 70 dollars gameIs this the first time COD should be worried?
It be rather fitting if it severely underperformed under Microsoft stewardship. It'd be par for the course really.
As a BF2 veteran that played most of the entries I have no desire to jump back in.
But I'm glad the series is back on track, both in gameplay direction and sales.
When I tried to jump in it was like 458,000. Took like 10 minutes to get in.
It's the one that didn't have to become free to play to get people to play it.Wait what happened? I was too busy playing my COD free trial.
What game is this??
Must be nice to not be at work...
Same after the 2042 launch…I caved and preordered this yesterday.I swore to myself I will never, ever, ever buy another Battlefield within the first 30 days of its release. Too many instances of rubber banding, blah blah blah issues, at launch.
But hot damn. I might have to let myself down and break the promise.
It's 6pm in central Europe.Must be nice to not be at work...
There's a bunch of people live on youtube right now, just watch any of those instead of a review.I haven't followed this at all. Can some point me to a good review or YouTube of the game? I haven't played a battlefield in probably… 15 years
So what's causing this - people really like these kinds of games and CoD hasn't been doing it for them? This filling a shooter-shaped hole?
100% that imo. Players are looking for good fun, but with realistic aesthetics and sensations without falling into simulations like ArmA or Squad. So what's causing this - people really like these kinds of games and CoD hasn't been doing it for them? This filling a shooter-shaped hole?

I haven't bought a shooter in ages. The beta was just an absolute ton of fun and it scratched an itch I didn't even know I had.So what's causing this - people really like these kinds of games and CoD hasn't been doing it for them? This filling a shooter-shaped hole?
