Microsoft just made Windows 11 a lot worse - local accounts are blocked during installation

Do I need to reinstall Win 11 using this method?

When using new (25H2) build you have to. Or just use MS account in setup and switch to local after installation.

You can also use older build and set up windows with it (using old bypass methods), then upgrade to 25H2. I still don't see this update in WU on my PC.

I installed a fresh copy of Win 11 Pro last week using his CTT utility, stripping all the garbage out and went straight into local user. Hopefully I wont get hit with a login screen when I get hit with the update.

Thanks for the info.

Nooooooooo I need to set up an account to install this operating system, this will take like 30 seconds

losing my mind

I applaud anyone who opts out of Microsoft's forced use of their online platforms. And I don't understand why you stand up for a company that removes this basic feature. It's not about the inconvenience of making a MS account, it's about principles and freedom.
