Leak Reveals New Details on Halo Combat Evolved Remake: Hybrid Unreal Engine 5 and Blam Engine, Sprint Mechanic, Co-Dev Studio, and More

The Collector's Remaster seems good enough so even less in need of a remake than RE4 but RE4R was awesome so maybe this could end up being awesome too. I'll rather they just focus on a Halo 7 though.
 
Microsoft is the antithesis to art and creativity. I wish they would leave gaming now. The original Xbox and the team involved, was great, but this?
This is why they've failed, and continue to fail.
I see that AI can help in development to speed up the process, but I'm not sure that's what's happening here
 
They need to make a better version of Battlefield where players play as Marines until they earn enough credits to spawn in as a Spartan.
 
is this the one where they're going apeshit with AI? Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Hope it doesn't shake the foundations too much and cause the industry to shrink down on using people to make games, but this is Halo and this is Microsoft and they might want to flex their gazillion dollar tech to the world via a Halo game.

Kind of important they get something big using AI out there before xAI does.

Halo is a great franchise pick for a big tech spearhead.

You could walk into this thread thinking (for some reason) all the Microsoft AI stuff is false, and end up having to reassess your own sanity just because Jez had the same opinion and no other reason whatsoever.

This is a software publisher with limited competition. The era of 15 AAA fps per year is gone. This allows them to feed ps/xbox/pc.

The only issue is the majority of gamers are broke. Next gen will be 80 usd.

Folks are not understanding battlefield is Lining up with battlefield 3, meaning it's a hit so 4 might be rushed for earnings. Personally waiting for goty edition on my end.

Because he is a snarky, immature corporate lackey which creates distrust and an unlikeable reputation of his character. The majority of the time when he is remotely honest is in defence of a situation.

If he was a bit more sincere and amiable regardless of a situation he might not get the criticism he does.

I already answered two posts above. But to simplify limited amount AAA for fps franchises compared to prior gen's.

This is why I believe ai/rtx stuff will be bigger than most folks expect.

FTP/gaas and consumer demographics with lower spending amounts contribute to this. This would have been a great opportunity for remakes of multiple fps sp franchises.
 
Every news we get from this remake make it sound more and more awful.

It will be fun to see all the Halo youtuber chill hard on this game because they will lose their job if Halo is just canned as it should.... 343 should really be studies as a case on how to bring the worse idiots to destroy and famous IP. And even there they are just average with the comparison of Disney and Star Wars.
