The X is quite a bit stronger than the steam deck. Unless your talking about the non x variant which is like 5% stronger than steam deck at best

Ok, sweet quite an improvment. thx.
Although i'm sure its the settings with the best improvements. Higher graphic settings and Resolution would have smaller gaps between that and the Steam Deck.

The $1000 model should be nearly 2x Steamdeck in many games, while the $599 model is literally an overclocked Steamdeck. They all pale in comparison to what a modern actual gaming focused APU should be producing at these prices though, AMD are just cramming existing laptop processors in these thing and they suck for gaming.

The box doesn't slide neatly off. That is literally one or two rounds of tolerance iteration with a packaging vendor like Stora Enso. Can't believe they skipped that too.

This device can do 60 fps in say, Outer Worlds 2 while looking decent. It will be 30 on SD.

Thats big reason to go for newer handhelds.

Sure, its not 1080p ultra, but if it has to be a handheld, its the difference between something playable and non playable, IMO.
