I'm also considering the machine for myself to free up my desktop for my son, and then have the machine on the living room TV for me to enjoy some games.
I think what would push me to it is if Steam machine can do GeForce now so for those games like Alan wake 2 or cyberpunk I want to see maxed out I could since I have a great internet speed.
