Air Strikes in Caracas

Its not about loving a dictator, it's about removing a dictator without involving the congress, as they should before attacking a country.

This is a retarded line of thinking because he is under no obligation to inform Congress, who would have ruined the attack by informing the Venezuelans.

Another Chinese propaganda poster from a while back. US Navy as an awesome mecha kaiju fleet

The Pentagon should hire China to make the posters for the next recruitment campaign.
Those make the US forces look so badass.

What I'm saying is the operation is completely legitimate and follows "international law" whatever the fuck that's supposed to be.

I'll tell you what it is. It's a fiction. It's a concept that serves little purpose than to give countries who have no power to enforce their will onto others the illusion that they can. And as the actual balance of power in the world has shifted, it's been incessantly screeched about more and more by those that got used to feeling way more important than they are.

"International law", "international order", "international norms", or whatever you choose to call it, is impotent without the ability to enforce it on those who break from it. It didn't stop the US from invading Iraq. It didn't stop Russia from invading Ukraine. Twice. It didn't stop 27 years of tyranny in Venezuela or Maduro from forcefully taking the presidency, sending unmarked drug boats into international waters, or ghost oil tanker fleets that dodged sanctions to the benefit of countries like Russia and Iran. It hasn't liberated the people of North Korea. It hasn't stopped the genocide in Sudan. It won't stop China from attacking Taiwan.

It's a joke. It doesn't actually exist. It is entirely reliant on having the backing of the US to enforce it. Meaning the US effectively decides what "international law" really is. It's a leash given to a 90-pound woman so she thinks she's in control of a 200-pound mastiff.

Are you fucking retarded?

Mentally ill.

He lets other news anchors tell him that another "news anchor" is not qualified. Ignoring the man's military career which is a gross slap to the face of his service.

So the answer is, yes.
Trump hired the drunk because he praised him tv, not because of his qualifications, he's a DEI hire lmao.

Regardless of opinions on whether this is just another interventionalist regime change or a very necessary operation, you gotta give Trump credit for how precise the execution was. In contrast, the overthrowing of Muammar Gaddafi under Obama's (and also Hillary's) watch, as an example, was incredibly bloody and chaotic.

Chinese propaganda posters unintentionally making us look badass, example #757854352

Reminds me of The Simpsons, an episode where homer went to Brazil with a shirt showing Uncle Sam biting a off a piece of the earth with the caption, "You can't stop us." XD

*Edit it said try and stop us.

Trump insiders are making a killing on Polymarket and you can copy their trades. These are obviously insider accounts

Bud, I haven't stepped into this discussion, but calling a decorated service member, with combat experience, battlefield planning seminars, etc a DEI hire is the most outrageous thing I have heard in a while.

I alone have had 5 tours into combat, from a LCpl as a squad member in a fire team, all to running platoons and making battlefield decisions, while not in the thick of things knocking down doors, how some men were in Fallujah, Ramadi, etc. He is far more qualified than most that sit in that seat making decisions on their men and women's lives and the interest of our sovereign nation.

This isn't about politics, when every administration before this man has appeased terrorist, cartels, and the like, which who by the way everyone considers satan and I did not vote for because of personal values, has made the world safer. He has stopped wars, he has stopped the murder of innocents, he has shaped the Middle East into an area without a power vacuum bringing the economic might of countries in the Middle East.

In our hemisphere where we should always have been, we are slowing drugs, slowing human trafficking, leaning less rapes of women and children, less men, women, and children getting here and being slaves to cartels, etc.

You do not have one idea in your head what it does taking another persons life, whether a good person or bad. You leave parts of yourself in places that you have to become just as depraved as those you are fighting. You do not know the personal hell of anyone that has seen their friends disappear into mist, or hold a man as he cries for his mother because he pushed another Marine through the door and took rounds to the chest.

Now, I don't get into much, and you can talk about the president or whoever, but when you call into question the resume of someone that was willing to protect the man to their left and right, you have gone too far and you're out of your depth. Especially if you have never laced a boot up and put another human in your line of sight.

Stop with the political nonsense. These people have a chance at something they haven't seen since parents were children. Let them have their chance to plot their future.

That's two extremely effective operations that were over almost as soon as they started in Trump's first 12 months. Bombing Iran's nuclear facilities and snatching an illegitimate Venezuelan dictator. No US casualties. No actual war like certain people freaked out over. Missions completely accomplished. Not including blowing up drug boats and seizing oil tankers. The two best parts about the Maduro capture was bombing the grave of Chavez and the fact that a Chinese delegation was in Venezuela and had just met with Maduro. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

My man's about 2 posts away from calling someone racist and someone a nazi.
Those two words have lost their meaning, since everyone on the internet is now a racist and a nazi these days apparently.

If call Trump a racist, it'll be ignored, if I call Trump a pedo and a retard...that clearly triggers people :messenger_tears_of_joy:

You honestly think you are triggering people and people here aren't instead just laughing at you?

I doubt they won't delete their accounts and make new ones

Would be too risky to keep the same going forward

They are so in their own bubble that they forget that their fishing fleet with 'hidden military equipment' that consistently bully their neighbors and overfish every pool of water that shitty fucking armada enters.
I feel for the Philippines, too.

Just FYI

After Maduro's disputed third inauguration in January 2025, the Biden administration raised an existing U.S. bounty on him from about $15 million to around $25 million.
Does that mean Potato Joe owes Trump $25 million? Can put it towards the White House Ballroom expansion....

Really doesn't. I don't care for Trump very much at all myself. I just don't dislike him enough to say him removing a known Marxist dictator is a bad thing just because it is Trump. And that's the crux of the problem here.

These aren't serious people, but they have and will cause serious problems.

Their endgame is Maduro-like, just more consolidated on a global scale for their masters.

still trying to coop with professional protestors defending an dictator.

Just any moment now please defend

All jokes aside, now that Maduro's gone, if the new guard just carry on business as usual, what happens then? Another operation?
It's best to just observe. A lot of handwringing and declarations are being made across the political spectrum, but results are all that matters. I am hoping Edmundo Gonzalez is placed into power given he has legitimacy based on the election results where he won 2/3 of the votes. We will see how it goes during this period of uncertainty.

I suppose I'm just curious how this 'transition' is enforced. People say this is about the oil, but how do they get that oil if a new 'democratically elected' leader says no? Guess we'll find out.

"The thing is, is when I said that I said that. Nothing said was unsaid and I said it when I wanted to say it. I will say this though, I said it as I said it and nothing is changed, for change is changed for good."

Whether it's the US spearheading it or a new local gov takes over, end of the day as long as the Vene people get a chance for freedom and improved quality of life, money, jobs etc.... that's what counts.

It'll take a long time though. The country seems to be in such a shitty situation and their key export that makes the money needs a lot of help updating the facilities. So not the type of thing that will be quick fix even if the greatest new gov took over tomorrow morning. Even if the US did one of those $100B bail out kind of deals, it'll still take lots of time to course correct.

It'll be interesting to see where Vene is at after 3yr, 5 yr, 10 yr etc....
