Hi - it's been a long time since I last posted on this forum (and sorry for the bad english - german native speaker).
New player here -I only started playing ZZZ at the beginning of December (my first gacha game ever), and I liked it right away.
I especially like the cool retro-futuristic aesthetic, the character designs (I also like anime/manga outside of the genre), the character progression, and, surprisingly, the story

To be honest, I wasn't originally interested in the story, but the more I played, the more interesting I found it. And the cutscenes are top-notch in terms of style and aesthetics, animation, and choreography. I'm not actually the biggest fan of this Chinese style of anime, because although objectively everything always looks pretty flawless, I somehow always feel like it's missing that final spark – I discussed this with a friend a few months ago and we both came to the conclusion that it often lacks the "esprit" that the Japanese bring to it – but this looks pretty good for my taste. It has this interesting mix of cyberpunk-like set pieces and a retro-futuristic vibe.
So I've invested a relatively large amount of time in the game in a relatively short period (just over 300 hours) – I find it a bit of a shame that I've now reached a point where I've pretty much "played through" the game and there's not really much left to do in the game apart from the daily battery consumption and the weekly/biweekly resets between patches. In my opinion, "Withering Garden" in particular should have more levels; 90 is clearly not enough. In general, I would like to see more TV World stuff, as I really liked things like Arpeggio, but that will probably remain wishful thinking.
At the moment, I'm not really able to master Shiyu Defense (I can get to level 5, but I don't have three teams for the last stage yet) or Deadly Assault (I can already get 4 stars).
In December, I got Dialyn, then YSG including the engine with the new patch, and a few days ago Astra, Alice, Jane, and their respective engines. Since I'm currently in dire need of a supporter, Astra was a given for me, and since I probably won't be going for the upcoming Angels (because I don't really like their overall design), Alice seemed like a good choice, especially since I've always enjoyed playing her as a trial character.
Unsurprisingly, I ran out of resources relatively quickly, so now I'll need a while to build the characters

So far, I've leveled up most of my characters according to the Pareto principle, meaning they're about 80% "finished," i.e., core skills E, other skills mostly between 8-10 (both with exceptions on the high side), I usually have one or two good discs per character, and the rest have the main stat (I've had rather bad luck with the dice when it comes to discs so far).
And so now I'm gradually upgrading one character after another in terms of skills (one at a time) before I plunge into the disc lottery.
I may be posting here more often in the coming days -I occasionally have specific questions where I could really use some advice from the "old hands." Hope that's okay.
I won't be able to match your scores anytime soon
